I ordered these Valsole Heavy Duty Insoles on August 8th. For some reason, the order just said "order submitted" instead of giving me a delivery date or an estimated date. This has nothing to do with the product, but the number of times I checked my purchase list for an arrival date, does. I was really looking forward to the new insole. Then all of a sudden it said, "arriving tomorrow." Tomorrow was yesterday. Yesterday was August 26th. I was very excited. I was even more excited that the insoles arrived before noon. I was excited because I use two other Valsole orthotic insoles regularly regularly ahd I absolutely love them. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis, which tends to damage the small joints of the hands and feet first. I have had it for about seven years. It advanced quickly. The joints are eroded and I have muscle atrophy due to extensive nerve damage. The thing is, I have always liked to be active. I kept pushing myself to stay on my feet all day, but then I'd lie awake all night because I was in so much pain (RA hurts more when you are still). I tried lots of different shoes with several brands of insoles, but none of them helped. Some seemed to make it worse. The first Valsole inserts that I bought were the only ones that helped at all. I have been using them ever since. I use the gel inserts for casual work and the heavy-duty inserts for outdoor work. When I saw these, I wasn't sure what made them different from my other heavy-duty insoles except that the description focused on them for work. I knew I had to try them. As soon as the orthotic insoles arrived, I put them into my knee-high, waterproof work boots. It was a good day to get them since I had about 200 feet of road and a matching ditch to weed-eat and edge. That is a particularly uncomfortable task since I have to walk on uneven ground while carrying weight. I worked for about six hours. The insoles were awesome. These insoles are thick and quite stiff, but still padded enough for good shock absorption. They have a rigid arch support that is about the same as the other heavy-duty insoles, but these are stiffer going from the arch support to the toes. I noticed the increased thickness when I removed the orthotics from the box. I was a little skeptical about it. My toes have started to turn inwards so that if my shoes don't fit well (and sometimes even if they do) I will step on my own toe, which causes me to say unladylike things. I was a little worried that the thicker, stiffer material at the toes would make that worse, but it did not. I think it made things better. I wore the same boots again today. I didn't step on overlapping toes once. I also noticed that the ball of my foot didn't ache as much despite doing heavy yard work two days in a row.. Obviously, since I have only worn them twice, I can't comment on the durability of these exact insoles, but based on the other Valsole orthotics that I use, these should do well. My others last a long time even though I frequently use them in my waterproof boots. That means I have to take them out at night to let them dry since waterproof shoes will keep water in as well as out. They don't dry quickly if I leave the insoles in. Taking the orthotic in and out so much adds to wear and tear but they still last several months. These new ones feel even sturdier so I expect the durability to be better. The insoles are a little pricy, but personally, I don't care. They reduce pain and help me stay active. That is 100% worth it. I can not and would never presume to give anyone medical advice, but if you are reading this, it is because you are looking for good insoles to support your feet for one reason or another. Not everything works the same way for everyone. I can only relay my reasons for using the orthotics and my experience. I can say with honesty that this brand has the best orthotics that I've tried and these specific insoles are shaping up to be the best of the brand. I have posted photos of the insoles so you can see them "out in the wild. Hopefully, they will help you evaluate whether they will work for you. It might also be useful to tell you that I am female, approaching em... well.... I don't suppose my exact age matters. I am in the middle of Gen X. I am 5'9" (1.75 M). My weight fluctuates between 190 and 200 lbs. Before RA, I wore a woman's 7.5-sized shoe. Now I keep shoes in sizes ranging from 7.5 to 9. A 9 is always too big, but I need it with tall boots so my feet don't get stuck if they swell. I do not have fully collapsed arches, but I do require significant support. I have never needed to trim my Valsole orthotics. They can be difficult to get into tall boots, but they fit well once I do. Read more

Comfortable inserts. Fit well inside shoes. Good support. Personal pain relief is decent. Review of: “ VALSOLE Heavy Duty Support Orthotic - 220+ lbs Plantar Fasciitis High Arch Support Insoles for Men Women, Flat Feet Orthotics Inserts, Absorbs Shock, Standing All-Day Comfort Work Shoe Insoles” Read more
I have tried lots of insoles - including custom made ones. I am overweight, have terrible knees, high arches, and I've had two foot surgeries for plantar fascitis. I have to wear shoes with great support or I will be in agony for days afterwards. These are some of the best insoles I've used. They fit without having to be trimmed - which was a huge plus right off the bat. They have good structure - which means they were stiff enough to insert easily. No trying to stuff them into the toes correctly. And they were so comfortable! I spent the day walking around an apple festival - so all kinds of terrain. Not usually the best idea to spend hours walking around in new insoles, but I didn't have any issues and more importantly, no pain. They are well cushioned by supportive and they have a wonderfully high arch. I like them so well, I've been trying them in different shoes. They've been great in everything. From slide-ons to sneakers and boots. I need to buy more pairs of these. They're the first non-custom inserts that actually have an arch support high enough for my foot. It makes such a huge difference at the end of the day. I recommend these highly if you have high arches and issues with finding comfortable support. Read more
I have tried so many shoe inserts through the years. I have a few medical issues that made me want to purchase a pair of those slide on shoes that don't require bending to put them on or tie. The whole concept seemed ideal. And it was, mostly. After standing or wearing the shoes became uncomfortable. These new inserts seemed a bit pricey, but I was amazed on how they made my long term wearing of my shoes so much more comfortable. Standing, walking, or just working in the kitchen or outside, these inserts proved themselves to be quite worth the price. I will be buying more of these for my other shoes. The arch support is just right. Not to soft but not to high. They brought back more function to my walks and standing. They have become of great value. They are made from the highest quality, long lasting materials. I would highly recommend these to get your walking abilities back. Well worth the investment. .. Read more
These are definitely one of the better pairs of insoles I've used. They are comfortable to use in a variety of shoes. I had them in tennis shoes over top of the original insoles because they were glued in, I just loosened my laces and they fit fine. I also put them into my house slippers, and my feet have felt better in just one day of wearing them around the house. I haven't had to trim them at all for either shoe, so the sizing on them is good. They have a high arch support which I need, and they feel more supportive, they don't squish down over time needing replacement sooner. Read more
