I have ordered these four times now. Could not do what I do for my grandchildren without them.They are the best support for the thumb and wrist. I had joint replacement of my thumb on my right hand and need it on my left. These give me perfect support for my wrist and thumb joint. I’m a grandma of four, ages four months to four years and I help take care of them three days a week. . These have been a lifesaver for my hands Easy to use and hold up very well. I forget I’m even wearing them. They’re so thin, but give great relief of pain on my thumbs. I wash them out by hand about every two days. I wash them out before I go to bed. I'm using this to support my thumb during a bout of tendonitis. I'm finding the compression very helpful. I do have to remove it every 6-8 hours just to get a little relief from the compression itself but it is comfortable for long periods. It is lightweight but offers good compression and support. Much easier to wear than a full brace. I have average size hands and am using the Large. Quality seems pretty good. I used it during an active work weekend driving boats and it held up very well. I followed product description's directions and measured my wrist. I have a small wrist (5.5"), so I ordered a small. The problem is there is almost no stretch to the wrist section, so getting it over your hand is brutal. Once it is on, the snugness around the wrist is acceptable. However, the only snugness in the entire sleeve is on the wrist and around the tip of the thumb. The base and length of the thumb are really loose, no support at all. I just had joint fusion surgery in my thumb and it's still pretty swollen, and STILL the sleeve is too loose. The fabric is super thin and overall gives little to no support to the thumb. Even having received 2, $10 is WAY overpriced. I do not recommend this product. Read more

This thumb support has advantages and disadvantages. Provides MINIMAL (but adequate for most of my needs) thumb support with EXCELLENT DEXTERITY (for piano/guitar playing, typing etc) AND EZ ON/OFF for handwashing etc. Works very well for my needs but some users may require more thumb support/stabilization. I wear another product with more thumb support/stabilization under garden gloves when gardening and/or heavier work. Read more

I do feel this helps a bit. It doesnt offer a lot of compression sadly. I wear it while working but gives some light support if you can call it that. Its thin so it's not hot or uncomfortable. I wear a compression wrap on my wrist with it to offer some wrist support since this is just the thumb. I also wear it when using my phone and I am not complaining I just wish it had a bit more compression but it's better than nothing for now. Read more
