I was looking for a BBQ set so that I can properly trim briskets, pork shoulders, fish, and chicken.....these knives do that perfectly AND more!!!! These knives are so sharp it's almost scary. I've had them about a month now and used them about 15 times for veggies and meats and they slice through anything they touch with EASE......The case they come in is well constructed and not a cheaply made pack and they have extra sleeves for other accessories as well. I know they're a bit pricey but you are paying for quality in this set and I can't begin to explain how sharp they are. I searched for a while to find a good set and this set is highly coveted by several butchers I know and if it's good enough for them to use for hours every day.....they're good enough for me. I now see the real difference between a butchers knife and one you buy at the store. I wanted a nice set of knives for using when I BBQ. After doing some research and getting suggestions from a couple of BBQ forums, I found this set listed as a great bang for the buck set of knives. I know there are better knives out there, but for the money this set is very nice. I mainly use the paring knife, slicer, chef knife, and boning knife. All are very sharp and easy to clean. My first set arrived with a zipper that stuck and didn't work on the roll. That set was replaced immediately and the 2nd set has no issues. I'm very happy with this purchase and it makes prepping food as well as prepping brisket, slicing brisket once smoked, breaking down chicken, etc. so much easier than with our old knives. Read more

I first heard about these knives from Bearded Butchers on YouTube, so while I was intrigued I wasn't sure about spending $380.00. This set was on sale for sale $206.00 directly from Amazon around the beginning of December, and that is a steal for this set now that I've had them and put them to use. I've never had knives this nice, and they cut, slice and trim with such ease. The handles feel great in hand with a lot of grip, which is is important when you're dealing with fat and grease. My only issue is I can't use them more often, but I'll probably use this set for the rest of my life. Read more

I just got my Master BBQ knife set today! They are awesome! Razor sharp out of the box. I love the handles as well. I have medium sized hands and they feel great. The sharpening steel should not go unnoticed either. I have had another steel for years. The Victorinox steel is far superior. It’s longer, heavier and feel much better in my hand. Read more

While you can build your own kit this one is great for the money and provides high quality knives at affordable prices. I would recommend they change the steel to a horizontal one but I thing that is just my personal preference. These knives are made to work for anyone in BBQ or butcher professions. Read more
