I got the next size up so I could wear warm clothes underneath in the winter season. It is true to size for me. It keeps the rain out unlike what some people have said in the reviews, maybe they are from a competitor and left bad reviews to level the playing field. The only gripe is the zipper is left handed instead of right handed so it’s kinda weird but works nevertheless. Viking, please start making a US standard right handed zipper on these jackets for men, in the US women’s clothing have the zipper on the left hand side. Read more

It's loose fitting and that's a good thing, because it allow you to put on warm clothes under it if needed -- exactly what I want. Interior material is smooth, which means quick/easy on-off. Good. Exterior material is heavy-duty, tough. Good. Only negative is the patches of Velcro along the zipper, to keep it closed from the weather.
