Customers consider this blender container to be the best ever made, noting it works perfectly with the old base and lid, fits the Vita Mix 5200c blender base, and serves as a great replacement for the original container.

I bought this as a replacement after the blades in my original Vitamix jar gave out. At first, I thought I would need to buy a whole new Vitamix, but replacing just the jar was enough to get it working again. This jar feels slightly thinner than the original one that came with the machine, but it does the job well and has held up great so far. Definitely a cost-effective solution! Read more
Price is right when you consider what is costs to replace the wet blade assembly for authentic Vitamix. Only $5 less for just the blade assembly and with this pitcher, the blade is already installed, so you don't need to buy the tool for changing the blade. All we did was reuse our original lid assembly on the new pitcher. Everything fits and operates flawlessly. Don't waste your time and money trying to rebuild your pitcher, just buy this one and keep your old pitcher as a back-up in case you need it. We got eight years out of the original blade assembly with twice a week use. We will be happy to get eight years out of this one. Read more
Purchased as a life-span replacement for the previous component, this carafe performs EXACTLY as hoped and EXACTLY as advertised. We purchased our Vitamix more than 10 years ago for the purpose of converting my meals to "smoothie" form as I lost my ability to "eat" as a result of SUCCESSFUL Throat Cancer Treatments, which left me unable to swallow. The Vitamix has performed FLAWLESSLY (!!) the entire time since its original purchase, and with the ability to replace the Carafe when _IT_ wears out, the only reasonable conclusion is that the VALUE for the money spent is MORE THAN A COMPLETE _SUCCESS_ !! That this component remains available as a replacement part for THIS long is a genuine testament to SUCCESSFUL Product Design and Engineering, and the replacement Carafe being just as reliable a component of the overall product only adds to my eagerness to offer my FULL and COMPLETE BUY RECOMMENDATION . I dropped my original Vitamix container and cracked it. I was on a very limited budget so I bought an off-brand replacement but it only lasted about a year when it cracked and began to leak. I had never dropped it or misused it in any way. In fact, I was very careful with it. I ordered this one without a lid as I still have my original lid plus the one that came with the off brand. Even the feel of it is better. Much better quality and it's heavier. Lesson learned! Read more
I've had my Vitamix for 15 years and after almost daily use, the bearings in the pitcher wore out and began leaking a brown, oily fluid. Fortunately I was able to purchase just the pitcher at a fraction of the cost of a whole new machine. It's lighter than my first one, partly because the blade house is plastic and the old one was metal and partly because the plastic used for the new pitcher is different; thinner, smoother and looks faintly blue. But even though it's been altered a bit, it still works perfectly with the old base and lid. Overall, it's a nice change, especially because the old pitcher was well used and not the nicest to look at. I'm curious how long the plastic blade house will last compared to the metal one though. Probably not 15 years. Fingers crossed that I won't have to worry about it for a long time... Read more
I received the Vitamix 5000 replacement canister today. I'm one of those Vitamix customers who've not had the greatest experience with my Vitamix. After buying the Vitamix 5000 in about 2000 and after 3-4 years of intermittent, infrequent use, the canister cracked. I never realized it was still under warranty, we were moving, etc. and just I put the thing away. Recently, after using the Magic Bullet blender with dissatisfaction, I decided to look into replacing the canister. Glad I found this one, since I still had a perfectly good lid. So I saved some money. The canister came quickly; KaTom seems to be a very professional company. Tested the blender out making nut milk. It's perfect! I'm thrilled to have my Vitamix back. Read more
