I was so happy to find a large roll of resistance band. In college at dance department, we used to buy it by yard, and could get the length we really wanted, but all the pre-packed options are always to short. I use the stretchy bands every day, have one in the car, one in the purse etc. I encourage my family and friends to use them as well, they tear occasionally. I liked the color, they are always better in nice lively colors, and blue is soothing. I especially like the no-latex material, it does not smell either. Read more

Because the band is so thin and stretchy, you cannot tie it off small enough to get the same 'heavy' resistance as with a true blue heavy band. The true blue heavy band, for example, tied at a 10" circumference provides HEAVY resistance. Trying to get the same level of HEAVY resistance with the Vive band, you have to tie it with a circumference of 5" - which makes it impossible to use for glut work etc. Reducing the length of the band does NOT produce the required resistance and the band is so thin it feels like it will snap. If you don't need HEAVY resistance, this might work for you. Read more

What I like about having a roll of resistance band is that it can be cut to whatever length is needed. I was "sold" on the benefits of physical therapy in my 20's after my pitching shoulder flared up. The therapist prescribed this funny looking blue rubber band and had me pull and tug on it in odd ways. I was slightly skeptical, but the pain went away and never came back. I'm now having some pain in the same shoulder in my 50's after recovering from a bicycle accident. Full disclosure, I'm no body-builder!😉 But I am a female who likes using resistance bands because they allow me to maintain fluid motions and hold form until I'm ready to release them, all without jerky motions or heavy weights and equipment. The bands allow me to be portable and I can easily take them with me. The Vive Resistance Band Roll (75 Feet) is in a dispenser box and allows me the freedom to cut the band length needed to suit my various needs. Perfect! The band is of great width and it is pliable and easy to form and tie loops. I appreciate that this product has no odor and that it is latex-free. The only issue I have is that this band is labeled "Heavy" but it doesn't feel heavy to me! In fact, I double it up for most uses and wouldn't want anything lighter. Overall, I like the product but I think the strength rating is off a bit. The "Heavy" feels much lighter to me, and I personally wouldn't bother with the ones labeled "Medium" or "Light." I would stick with "Heavy" and go up from there. For this reason, I deducted a star, but the actual product is uniform in strength, stretch, and thickness of material. Read more
