you get what you pay for -- disappointment
I bought two of these to take advantage of the single shipping cost -- a bit over 8 bucks a piece in the end. Out of the box they looked good, but on first use the spring-loaded button to release the quick-release fitting flew off into pieces, at least one of which I was not able to find to put it back together. So immediately I was down 1 tripod. The second one worked the first use until I started straightening out the legs for storage when two different legs separated between rubber segments. Luckily I was able to put those back together but leaves me wary of their strength and stability in furute uses. I sent the broken one back for refund, but will continue to use the one which is weak but otherwise still intact. But I will not trust any camera of value on it just in case it decides to fail at an unfortunate time. I will not buy these again, regardless of cost, and would not recommend them to others.
