An absolute tank of a desk! I previously made an 8 foot long desk to have enough desk space but often got tired of having to slide over constantly between my work stations(tinkering and gaming). I then started looking for my next desk option as I needed a solution. I found this monstrosity! I never clicked the buy it now button so fast! Assembly was very easy! Tip: just lay out the pieces in numerical order, I place index cards down with the numbers as well as an identification "hack" to save time and headaches. (time may vary I was by myself and it took me 3 hours) A standing desk is a must have for students with ADHD as I have found standing while at a desk allowed me to figit more freely and thus keeping me at my desk rather than getting up for my figit walks. Has all the space for my computer, figures, AV equipment, writing space, and all the future desk clamp mounted shelves I have planned out. I've used Vivo products since 2017, in my opinion they are well made and affordable! This is their one-of-a-kind (for now) spaceship desk I feel the desk has definitely been worth the money! The media could not be loaded. So far so good. The desk was shipped in 3 heavy boxes. We followed the steps pretty easy. Please have a drill to reduce time. It took us about 3-4 hours to put together. Definitely recommend that once you have base put in area you like with furniture sliders to move around with ease. Fits all my monitors and laptops and what I like most is that it is motorized!! Very sturdy so far. Will give an update if I have issues. Definitely worth the money. My last desk was wooden and lasted 20 years but this was a much needed upgrade. Will get desk cover because black definitely shows your prints. Great value for the price. Not noisy in my opinion. I was originally skeptical with the price and the size of this desk. Similar desks are double the price. But I needed a desk for my home office quickly and as cheap as possible. So I went with this. The desk is better quality that I would have guessed. I would have happily paid $1000 for this. It's very sturdy, easy to assemble and everything works as advertised. Read more

For the money the desk is huge. I essentially have 3 work stations in one with this. That said, it was difficult to figure out the spacing and holes for the sides compared to the corners. Either way I did it, they did not work out right. The dowel holes never seems to line up, so I did my best with the metal brackets and it seemed okay. Height adjusts quick. I did the assembly alone which is not advised but worked out ok. It’s heavy. Read more

This desk is excellent. Comes well packaged and not super difficult to put together. I have a bad shoulder and can hardly lift my right arm anymore, but I was able to get this all together and up and running in about 2.5 hours. I did use some extra cable ties and screws to fasten them up and out of the way which I purchased separately. Great desk with a large work area. Read more

This is easily the most affordable U-shaped desk on the market, but it's well-made. It comes in 3 boxes with decent instructions, packaging, and pre-drilled holes. Hint: Watch the alignment of the holes to make sure you don't install the center piece upside-down. 220 lb is on the low end of standing desk weight limits, but it still holds a few clamp-on monitor arms, speakers, laptops, and other miscellaneous electronics without too much fuss. You can definitely hear the motors slow and struggle a bit on the way up as you add more weight, but nothing concerning. I added M8 size casters to mine - highly recommended it. The legs remain stable and do not flex under rolling movement. The desk remains stable as I type, game, or drag displays around on their monitor arms. It gets plenty tall - for people at ~6'5", max desk height plus 2" lift from casters will allow you to stand and cross your arms on the table without leaning or bending over in any way - it's great! For the price, you are sacrificing better motors. I really wish this had collision detection like my Uplift, as the only way to stop the motors is to press a button again on the control panel - not great for a house with a toddler. Lastly, I wish this came with more color options than just black. Lack of collision detection and white color option - that's why it's 4 stars and not 5. Read more

Desk is wicked heavy and wicked sturdy. Took me and my wife 2 hours and 4 joints to put this together. Didn't argue once. Nice first date project idea to see how compatible people are. Highly recommend. Wicked big surface area to work and the such on. Read more

Excellent desk! The build quality is basically as good as the $1500-$3000 u-shaped standing desks, keeping in mind that it has a IKEA-like surface top (way more than sufficient in my opinion). Read more
