I would like to start by saying that I do really love these desks and this companies support and how willing they are to make sure you are satisfied with their product. That being said, there are definitely some major quality control issues. I really like the design of this desk. Both my husband and I ordered one and mine came with a big chip on the top side of the desk (Picture 1). I reached out to their support team and they are very responsive and willing to help. They sent me a replacement desktop immediately. Sadly, when it came it had very long shallow scratches along the top this time (Picture 2). I reached back out to them and they were willing to try to send me one more or would give me a partial refund. At the time I decided to the partial refund, though I am now wishing I had tried one more time to get a nicer top. But my wanting to change my mind is not factored into this rating LOL! The crank is plastic and is not the highest quality, but it works. It doesn't hold position well and tends to sag rather than hugging the bottom of the desk, but the desktop itself stays put in the position you set it. The one my husband received squeaks like crazy. We are going to try WD-40 and hope that works. Overall if there was not damage to all 3 products we received, I would have rated 5 stars in a heartbeat. Read more

Let me explain. The desk base and desk top ship separately. They both come with their own instructions and once you figure out which screws are which, it's fairly easy to understand. This is until the instructions start to overalp and contradict one another. I ended up sticking to the base instructions until they ran out and then moved to the desktop instructions (ignoring the overlaping steps). It worked out well in the end. Though it wasn't clear that you had to drill the crank handle onto the bottom of the desktop without any premade holes. I was missing the crossbar support piece for the smaller raised desktop, but I contacted the company through Amazon and they sent a replacement piece quickly. I think the quality is good and I am satisfied with the purchase, but give it four stars due to difficulty with instructions and missing a piece of the product. Read more
