I just applied this to a plastic greenhouse that I've had for about 6 years. Both Zippers were busted. The adhesive is quite sticky but I was able to remove and adjust to ensure a straight line fit. Easy to trim off excess as well. We'll see how long it lasts but so far I'm impressed. Read more
This is my second purchase of this VIVOSUN zipper, and overall, I’ve been satisfied with my purchase. I initially installed one in 2022 for my grow room and used it multiple times daily. While I didn’t expect it to last forever, it worked reliably for about three years before starting to fail in January 2025. Much longer than I anticipated. Just recently the original zipper became increasingly difficult to zip smoothly, prompting me to replace it. Despite this, I repurchased the same zipper because of its durability and functionality for the price point. One thing I’ve learned is that installation matters. After attaching the zipper, make sure to remove enough of the plastic from the seam you cut for the door. If you don’t, the plastic can get caught in the zipper, potentially causing issues over time. The zipper is sturdy, easy to apply, and works exceptionally well with poly or plastic sheeting. It’s also 99.9% light-proof, which is an essential grow room setups. I would recommend this product to others looking to create a simple, reliable door in their greenhouse or other enclosures. Be gentle and it will last for several years. Read more
Bought these to attatch to my mesh porch magnetic doors since the wind kept blowing them open, sadly they did not stick to the mesh they fell down the next day but i was able to sew them on and they have been working perfectly! The sizing is perfect and seems like a very durable zipper material. The glue was also very sticky but not mesh compatible. Read more
I am building a temporary paint booth out of two by fours and plastic sheeting. I needed a way to get in and out but also keep the room air tight. These zippers are perfect. They are made from a pretty heavy duty fabric and the adhesive on the back is thick and sticks well to plastic. Read more
I placed this product on a secured end wall of a high tunnel after wiping down the area it was adhering to on a day in the mid 50s. The installation was quick and easy, the zipper was functional and everything seemed fine for a few weeks, we only entered my high tunnel twice in that time so definitely not under heavy use.. Exactly one month after being up one size of the adhesive had come undone completely and the door was compromised. During this month the winds never exceeded 17 MPH and we hardly used the door, the fact that the adhesive failed that quickly is sad. Don't buy this product for a high tunnel end wall. Read more
Adhesive doesn't stick that well, had to combine with double sided tape to create a seal. Zipper is smooth though. Read more

I purchased these zippers as a replacement for one of those cheap powder-coated metal greenhouses whose cover disintegrated. I replaced it with greenhouse plastic and applied the zippers. In hindsight I should have measured out the plastic first and applied the zippers while the plastic was on a flat surface. However I applied them while the plastic was in a vertical position and didn't get them perfect but then again I didn't have anyone to help me that day. The zippers work great though they're a bit too long. I cut the zippers off where I needed them and pried the metal stop from the end of the zipper and repositioned it which took about 30 minutes to do both. They're holding up great and the only issue I have is that sometimes the cut plastic gets caught in the zipper but I think that's my fault as I was in the hurry when I cut the plastic. It been approximately three months and the greenhouse has experienced temperatures ranging from 20° to 115° and are still holding tight to the plastic. I'd definitely purchase again! Read more
