This VIVOSUN Mylar film is fantastic! I was a little worried about the thickness, but it's perfect—not too flimsy, but still thick enough that it feels durable and won't rip easily. Cutting it to shape was a breeze, which made my little project so much easier. I'm using it to grow some cactus seeds and it's working great. The reflective material does an amazing job of bouncing light back onto the seedlings, and it definitely helps with heat retention. The best part, though, is that you can see through it just enough to check on everything without having to take it down. Plus, it's a great way to keep my nosy neighbors from thinking I'm running some kind of illegal grow operation instead of just pursuing my hobby! Highly recommend it. Read more

I am very pleased with this new mylar film roll. I am even more pleased in the level of service I received from VIVOSUN. I plan to continue purchasing from them whenever possible, knowing they stand behind their products. Well done! ________________________________________ (Previous Review): I am pretty happy with this Mylar film. Didn't experience any streaking, but I did notice that it is easy to create streaking/scratches if you are not careful. You will want to take care to unroll the film on a clean smooth surface; any abrasion may leave streaks/scratches easily. It is pretty thin (only 2 mil. thick), but it is surprisingly durable. I used a staple gun to hang some sheets. Even after some serious tugging/pulling, even stepping on the bottom, the film didn't tear or come loose -- there was some streaking/scratcges though with minimal contact. This film is not forgiving when it comes to scratches. I will say it is very reflective. Although, It is translucent. You can clearly see what is on the other-side, when looking into a lit room, from a dark room. It is comparable to some serious limo tint. 1 layer thick and it block almost all the light from coming through. But again, it is possible to see through it. This film is also very rigged. It doesn't fold well, it wants to retain its original shape -- but it does wrinkle without too much difficulty. Makes it a little difficult to double up. Honestly, not much light penetrates using a single layer though. This film would be much better with a black poly backing. I would recommend this to a friend as a cheap option for Mylar film. However, I would heavily suggest substituting the 7 mil version instead. Read more

I feel the biggest thing yo know about this product befor purchase is that it is transparent until a background is applied. Think of it as more of a tint. I wanted to use in my growroom and as a background for a wall mounted aquarium. Works in the growroom but not as much as a background for aquarium unless it is a room you dont mind people seeing theough to. Still a good product depending on use. Read more

This is a game changer, especially if you can’t afford a grow tent!!! It reflects light extremely well and even retains heat, especially if you have it on all walls and the ceilings!!! It’s light weight like a poster, but very durable, and can be reused over and over!!! I have not loved a product of its kind like I love VIVOSUN in my entire life. This product and I were so meant to meet! The first photo shows the space prior to VIVOSUN. With this product you can be endlessly creative and playful. (I should have gotten the biggest roll, but it's okay, I will get more when I run out because I keep finding things that VIVOSUN will make far more beautiful and enjoyable.) -- The third photo shows two small filing cabinets that I got as base for my glass top desk. I could not stand the idea of having two big objects obstructing the light and view; the solution? Cover them with VIVOSUN. <3 <3 <3 The second photo shows the door, which used to be horrible; it now is artistic, beautiful, reflective of light and enhancing the sense of space, like everything where VIVOSUN goes does. I couldn't possibly love this film more. I would cover an entire wall with it in a room, but maybe in the future :-).
