These lights work great. I used 50% light intensity during seedling and veg stage for my tomato plants and then switched to 75% when I went into Flowering stage for the first 4 weeks. Then after defoliating, I went to full 100% for the remainder of the flower cycle. The best bud set and tomatoes I have ever gotten!! Read more

This very bright light has raised several beautiful, compact, and healthy plants. Gone are the days of light-starved leggy plants under CFLs. But this lamp also runs reasonably cool (you can put your hand on it briefly), so no heat like with sodium lamps. Being LED, it is relatively energy efficient to run. But the most important part is that my plants love it at all stages of life. They grow swiftly and in great health. The light even has a dimmer so that it does not harm tender seedlings, which is not unique but still is a helpful touch. 5 stars. Read more
This is my very first grow light so I have no means to of comparing it, however, it has shown to be an extremely powerful light. At the recommended height/brightness, it was killing my seedlings. I went through everything trying I could think of to figure out my problem and at a last ditch effort, I raised the VS2000 to the top of my five foot 2x4 grow tent and my plants have since flourished. I can't wait to see how the light does in flower at higher power! The only down side is the power connection to the driver. It's flimsy and a slight movement will cause the light to go off. I don't believe it will be an issue during any grow, especially as I will keep the light stationary at max height, but, it's there. It may just be an issue with my device and I don't believe it will pose any problem. But, if 99.9% reliability is a must, especially for a professional grower, this could pose an issue. Read more

This thing makes all the difference. Grow lush plants with no excessive heat build up in your tent. Dimmable in 25% increments. I love this thing and so do my plants. 11/23 update- So far I’ve had several very successful harvests using these lights. I now have two of the small ones and one of each of the bigger ones. The 400w is on the way now. Good lighting is one of many things needed for a good crop. Do yourself a favor if you’re looking for lights, Spend the money upfront because it will pay off at harvest no matter what brand you use. Read more
