This phone mount has potential to be great, but it lacks the versatility of movement. It only has two pivot points, which makes it difficult to adjust to an ideal position. The plastic is also very light and cheap feeling, so I'm not sure how durable it is. I give it 4 stars for it's lack of positioning options and its cheap feel, but the magnet is strong, and it comes with several metal plates to match your phone style, so those are a plus. This is a very nice magnetic phone holder. It is a rubber covered magnet, and is a very strong hold to the included self adhesive metal plates. There area couple sizes of metal plates included. The rubber covering on the holder is nice, so not to be scratched and noisy. The neck is fully adjustable and sturdy. The suction cup has an adhesive gel on it, which is hard to move once applied, so make sure you KNOW where you want it before applying. Easy to install and works great! I recommend this phone holder. I have an apple phone in a card caring case so it is somewhat heavy. At full extension the adhesive would not hold in the sun. I added a short leg, mounted to the arm at the edge of the dash. Problem solved. Still it deserves a 3. Read more

The suction cup has some kind of glue on it that sticks. I have been on two long trips and it has not fallen off. Love that you can extend the mount so that the phone is closer to you. The only problem I ran across was with the magnetic part. The case I have has a ring built in so it doesn’t align with the mount because the mount is oval shaped. I had to put one of the metal plates that is included for my case to work. Besides that problem I say this mount is very sturdy. Read more

I got this to hold an iPhone between the cupholders in the dash console in a van. This suction holds very well and there is enough adjustment with the extension arm that you can arrange the phone how you need. I am extremely happy with this find at a great value. GREAT FIND. Read more
