Why did you pick this product vs others?: There were definitely a lot of options to choose from, but I picked this one because it was the most affordable and I just wanted to try it out. I also bought it based on a YouTuber's recommendation. Blend ability: I used a sifter first, then blended it with a milk frother. I did not have the traditional method of making otherwise I would but milk frother did a find job Aroma: Looks smooth, fresh, and inviting. As soon as I opened the package, I noticed a clean, grassy scent with subtle nutty undertones. It doesn’t have that sharp or overly bitter smell. it’s mellow and earthy, almost creamy on the nose. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened it and saw the matcha is a vibrant green, a good indicator of a good quality matcha. This matcha powder has a good clean, vegetal scent to it, very slight grassy smell. The powder is smooth and sifts very well. This matcha whisks very well too. As for the taste, I make it as a latte and I do notice it has a more subtle umami taste to it and has low bitterness and astringency. I like my matcha more bold and nutty but this one has a milder taste for me, but it’s still good and I do enjoy it very well. I think this is very good for a daily matcha. I recommend it. Read more
This is an entry level matcha. The flavor is very light. I like a more deep flavored tea. The color is very vibrant. I think the best way to drink this is to cold whisk the milk into it so the flavors blend better as a latte. Read more
Quite tasty, a really nice depth of flavor. Nice vegetal scent when opening the bag. Lovely color green powder, not yellow or muddy. Prepared as traditional usucha, whisk and hot water so as to appreciate the taste and texture of the matcha. Easily whisked up a nice creamy foam. No bitterness, nice and smooth, touch of vegetal sweetness, nice clean aftertaste. No grittiness or chalkiness at all. I could drink this as usucha every day and be very happy!! Read more
I absolutely LOVEEEE this matcha. I have tried a few Amazon brands and even brands in stores (e.g., Sprouts or Whole Foods) and I would choose this in a heart beat. The color is amazing, it froths up and makes the most beautiful microfoam, and has no astringent taste. I have kept this matcha in my fridge for two months and the freshness still stay awesome. The quality you get with this matcha for the price in unbeatable. The only suggestion I would appreciate is if they put it in a tin so I wouldn't get matcha all over my hands when I get to the bottom of the bag and scoop it out. Read more

This powder embodies everything one would want in finding the perfect matcha in this time of matcha shortage - color, scent, texture; the only thing lacking is potency. It has a delicious vegetal scent, almost floral with a slight grassy smell. It has a subtle umami taste and bit of astringency that doesn’t linger . I use 3 gram of powder with around 50-60g of whisking water for an usucha or koicha which you can taste the full potential of this powder. As a latte, I opt for 3.5-4gram of powder with 40g of whisking water for a 12oz glass. I like my matcha to have a sweet, bold, nutty, creamy note. Although this matcha doesn’t pack with a punch but definitely has its own fire. All in all, you can indulge in your daily matcha without the guilt of breaking the bank. Read more
