Why did you pick this product vs others?: Beautiful product both the knives and block. The knives fit nicely in my hand and good weight. They can get slippery, and sticky quickly. I wouldnt say they are the sharpest, but tremendously better than most. One of the reasons I picked this product over others was that it states it is dishwasher safe. While it will survive an accidental trip through the washer, mine come out with rust on it. A thorough scrubbing will take it off, but you are better off just hand washing in the first place. I have had other knives that although significantly more expensive have lasted me 10+ years with multiple trips in the washer, never dulled or rusted. This product is worth the money, but if you are looking for heirloom quality you may want to keep looking. I do not recommend this set for those with dexterity struggles due to handwashing and slippery grip. Read more
