Watched Secret Level Episode 5 on Prime and got very intrigued by Warhammer 40k lore. What a fantastic episode! The episode takes place after the events in this game. Have not been disappointed with this game at all. While the main Story game is relatively short, the Player vs Environment (PvE) Operations games allow you to play missions that compliment the main story. You have a choice of 6 different Ultra Marine Classes to fight with: Tactical, Assault, Vanguard, Bulwark, Sniper, and Heavy. Each class is uniquely different with their own strengths and weaknesses and the longer you play the more you can upgrade their weapons and abilities. Also, if you play on harder settings, you have to fight bigger and stronger bad guys that are not available in the easier settings. Playing at a harder difficulty will yield greater rewards for weapons and attribute upgrades. You can play PvE solo with 2 additional NPC Ultra Marines or you can play the levels online with other players who are already upgraded. ONLINE PLAY IS FREE. THE UPDATES ARE FREE. You don't have to pay anything for online play or expansion updates. The only thing I payed for was a skin that I wanted. I'm not a big gamer. I only have Red Dead Redemption 2, Madden, CFB, COD MW2 for PS5, and this game. I love this game way more than COD MW2 simply because it's not trying to milk me of money for everything. I also love that this taps in to over 3 decades of Warhammer Lore and apparently does it very accurately. I appreciate when games can tap into established canon and remain faithful to it. Read more

The combat is intense, fast-paced, and satisfying, with a great variety of weapons and abilities. The visuals are impressive, and the atmosphere perfectly captures the dark, war-torn universe of Warhammer 40K. Multiplayer and campaign modes both deliver thrilling experiences. Space Marine 2 totally blew me away with its single player campaign. The story is epic, packed with intense action sequences and moments that genuinely make you feel like a powerhouse Space Marine fighting against impossible odds. The visuals are gorgeous and the environments are huge—every level feels like a massive war zone, and the gameplay is fast, brutal, and seriously fun. I loved how the campaign kept introducing new enemies and weapons, so it never felt repetitive. The voice acting and soundtrack just add to the cinematic vibe. That said, the multiplayer is just…okay. It’s not bad, but after the adrenaline rush of the main campaign, it feels kind of tacked on. The modes are pretty standard and there aren’t a ton of maps, so it gets old fast. If you’re looking for a rich multiplayer experience, this probably isn’t the game for you (at least not yet). But if you’re all about an awesome, action-packed solo adventure, Space Marine 2 absolutely delivers. I’d still recommend it for the campaign alone! Read more
