This is a blender meant for restaurants and coffee shops. Not something you would put in a home. BUT, if you have the extra scratch, and you want top tier, restaurant quality blends, this IS the unit for it. Very quiet provided its power. Compared to the Nutribullet that I have, it's far quieter, but it still has a bit of noise. You're blending, it's just going to be noisy, but the Nutribullet sounds like it'll blend your house, whereas the Waring is heavy and solid enough that it absorbs most of the vibration and the cover helps reduce the noise floor further and makes for a pleasant experience. Especially nice if you're blending an iced coffee in the morning and don't want to be bothered with loud noise. The dual-motor design is pretty fantastic. You get a smooth blend fast, every time. The puck is heavy and holds firm to the blender jar while blending. True, it's one more thing to charge and potentially lose, but it's incredibly well made and useful enough that you'll be sure to keep it in a safe space where it won't be damaged or lost. Overall, this blender is fantastic and well-built. You're going to pay for it, but again, it's commercial grade, so you're getting your money's worth and should expect that this kind of appliance is going to last you for years and years. Read more

What an amazing blender! This is not your normal, run of the mill blender, this is the hulk of all blenders. I’ve never seen anything like it. It takes some small, easy assembly but basically ready to use out of the box. There’s a million programmable functions, it has a cover that lowers to quiet the blending process in case it’s too loud, it has dual blending blades…….this thing is insane. We added this Waring Commercial Ellipse Blender to our home kitchen, and it’s been a total game-changer. Need to download the manual, and I recommend to print out the page to have it on-hand when programming. There are 4 different reprogrammable programs which are easy to use, and not too difficult to program, though expect to need to reference the instructions while programming. I really like the wider round container compared to square containers, together with the Ellipse system and the dasher (the sweeps on the sides) it maintains great consistency and even blends without pockets around the blades, also seems easier to clean than a square container. Perhaps a little more complicated due to the Ellipse system, I feel it is worth it because it provides a very smooth and consistent blend. The design is OK for cleaning, though one will need to care to avoid dripping off the dasher when removed. Storing the Ellipse motor is simple with the integrated holder. Blends much better than the other high power blenders I have owned (no voids and no tamper needed at all). Overall I really like it, my main concern with my other blender was the noise, the Waring blender is not only much quieter, but it blends so much better, I didn't realize that it could be this easy. Okay, this thing is ridiculously overkill for my realistic needs, but dang it works great. Definitely intended for commercial use in a smoothie shop or such. I've been using a VitaMix, which is no slouch of a blender itself, but it doesn't hold a candle to the Waring. I thought the dual motor setup with blades at the bottom and dasher at the top was going to be kind if gimmicky/trying to justify the price, but it really does help everything blend up fast and evenly. The hood does a great job of reducing noise too. The only minor critique I have is the capacity of the pitcher - its definitely a one-serving-at-a-time size, but considering how fast this thing is, its probably just as fast (or faster) making two separate smoothies in this than it is to make one bigger one in a typical blender. The Waring ellipse blender is a commercial blender that will make smoothie making an art. It is by far the best blender I have ever used. The dual motor is extremely powerful and works rather quickly. It blends my fruits/ice very evenly. The speed to which it blends is ridiculous. 10 second smoothie is here and you can make up to 32 ounces. The operational sound is a lot less than I thought it would be. The noise is somewhat enclosed. Docking the jar is not labor intensive at all. Just a quick twist. Can't explain enough how great of a product this has turned out to be. I love putting in a spoonful of protein into my fruit smoothies for breakfast. Great product. Read more
