The Warthog sharpener is a terrific system for sharpening your knives. From your pocket knife to your high end knives. I will say the hones used in the Classic Sharpener have broken at the tip where installed on the sharpener. I have had to replace 2 sets of hones. The first to break (at the tip setting on the base) was the medium/fine set. Recently the coarse set of hones broke at the same place. These are not cheap to replace but to keep the system working you need the various grit hones to sharpen to the best edge. This seems to be the only weakness. when i have a blade that really needs stronger quicker metal removal to get to the angle Im needing, I put on the coarse to get it to the angle quickly, then go back to the medium to take those scratchs out, then either use a hand steel or the steels provided on the back of the warthog blade, it really brings up that edge nice. to get even more out of your sharpening ability, get a old leather belt, tie one end to a drawer handle and strop the blade, that sharp will bring most blades to cut telephone book paper with ease...
