So far, so good!
Great drive so far. Time will tell how long it lasts as it's a "renewed" drive. The price was awesome! Capacity is not too bad even for today's purposes. I used to work and teach computer technology so I've seen hundreds of hard drives in about thirty years. Not too many fail, and I've found WD to be right at the top of the list of most reliable. If you're gonna get a "renewed" drive, this is the brand to choose. Read more

Great and decent priced hard drive.
Pretty reliable hard drive honestly. You can't beat WD quality. I installed this hard drive in my PS3 and it seems to be working just fine. I sorta regret buying a 500gb drive because I've realized that I might actually need more storage! Great hard drive though. Read more
Works as if new
Purchased this as a "renewed" drive, as I figured that it was worth the risk at the price. Drive came well packaged, with padding and anti-static wrapping. Did not include mounting screws (though I didn't expect it to). Disk had no existing data on it, and also had zero bad sectors and no prior warnings for things like temperature. Read more

Swapped out my hard drive on my 10 yr old laptop.
I had an older Windows 7 laptop that I put this hard drive in and had no issues. Loaded a Linux OS on it and been using it ever since. Hard drive came packed well, but it took about a week for delivery. I’m happy with my purchase. Read more
