Love this for our child on the spectrum. He uses it in loud and chaotic situations to feel grounded. It is custom fittable with the Velcro sides and shoulders so not too tight like some, which my child loves. He has asked to sleep in it before. Wish there was better color options but the blue is nice! The weight isn't too much, a good level of soothing. Super easy to get on and off with help from a second person. The Velcro works very well. It is adjustable can fit children from 30- 65 pounds. I bought I size medium. The weights are not so heavy so the children can move around without feeling confined or restrained. Easy to use, just put over the head, and then Velcro. The size. Very easy.. Read more

I purchased this vest to help calm one of my students. The size and weight of the vest was good. The fit was good. After a few days the student was able to put the vest on independently which made it easy for them to use. The price wasn’t bad, however the Velcro doesn’t hold up very well. Over time the Velcro no longer holds and the vest will come undone and slide off the student. I considered sewing snaps on the shoulders to keep the vest on and that works better than the Velcro. I ordered the Medium size for my small 6 year old with ASD and it fit him good. It was a little heavier than I expected but I think he tolerates it ok. the velcro on the sides and shoulders makes adjusting great. I will evaluate whether it helps in regulating him during stressful times. Read more

We bought these to help our autistic son when he is overwhelmed, as a suggestion from his OT. They have been so helpful. When they need the extra support/ stimulation, this is perfect. He can still play in it , and we can remove, add weights as needed. Sometimes he just wears it for compression. Great price too! No weird smell either. Read more
