Am still getting my 3 1/2 year old used to this. He doesn't want to put it on so we call it a policeman's vest and put a toy police badge on it. We talked about the kevlar vests policemen have to wear to keep them safe. He has finally worn it twice for 30 min. And it did seem to help calm him. My daughter uses this for her figure skating training as a weighted vest. I’m sure it also works great for sensory purposes in children. The vest itself is very nice quality, comfy and cozy, and contains little pockets for fitting in the weights, this way you can easily adjust the weight of the vest—making it heavier or lighter.
