After I got 1 double package for 2 outlets I decided to get 2 more packages (4 outlets) I’m moving more and more Into an “intelligent” house, automating my life has become very enjoy. These outlets work senselessly with my Apple HomeKit. I understand it works with Alexa as well but I do not have that (yet lol) The only thing I don’t like is the long look, but you can use 2 in 1 outlet. Tip: if you throw your package out(like I did), take a picture of the code on the back of plug with another device (iPad), so you can set it up In your phone. Read more
I have several of these devices in use. You can connect them in the same Wemo app account even if they run on different wifi connections in different houses or cities. This can be good or bad. I have them in use at my house, but then also at my parents and grandparents places. It makes editing and operation much quicker and easier, especially if you manage other properties. Other brands do similar things but I stick with the Wemo because of my other devices. When they disconnect, a rather quick and easy trouble shoot or reset works with little effort. The review here is for the seller, not the product. The ones I received do NOT have a QR code, and they will NOT work Apple HomeKit. Though the description on Amazon says that they do, the text on the boxes I received only includes Alexa and Google. They work fine with the WEMO ap, and google assistant. Read more
Purchased to control gallery lights in our home. Easy setup/install and works well with our Google Home. I do wish they offered more functionality (such as dimming lights) but I recognize that’s not what they are. What you see is what you get and they’re nice! Read more

It took me 2-3 hours plus a call to tech support to get these set up, and I'm a fairly tech savvy human. Then they stopped working within a couple days, and I had to unplug and replug them in to reconnect. A third one that I bought elsewhere never worked for more than a couple days at a time without being reset. Tech support is helpful, but I've spent way more time talking to them than the convenience of the plugs are worth. SETUP: If you're having trouble because the set up directions don't seem to work, here's what worked for me (as instructed by a tech support rep). We had to set it up the "old v1 way." 1) First, just in case, do a hard reset of the plug by unplugging it, press and hold the power button, after 5 seconds plug it back in while still holding the power button until the light flashes fast. 2) Then leave it plugged in for 15 MINUTES, until the WEMO plug no longer shows up under "Set up a new device" section of your wifi network list. 3) At that point, try to set it up in the Wemo app. Or, if it shows up in the regular network list, connect to its wifi and then open the Wemo app, and it will probably immediately walk you through setup. 4) Once it's been added to the Wemo app, do a firmware update (More tab > Firmware Update) 5) Once the firmware update is complete, then and only then can you add it to HomeKit.
