Worth every penny and then some....the -25 rating is real. LOVE my bag!
Like most of us who love the outdoors, I've invested eye-watering sums in certain items. $1K for a sleeping bag certainly made me swallow hard, but I needed a great bag made with ethical down and I sure hoped it'd be worth it. Then I spent a month in Antarctica, first in a sailboat with no heat in a blizzard (this was not in the plan), and then camping in a windstorm that forced us to dig our tents into holes (the windstorm piece was not in the plan either). The Puma was the warmest, toastiest, most incredible refuge from the elements. They tell you to take sleeping bag temperature ratings with a large pinch of salt, but this baby is actually a -25 bag. On my Antarctic trip, it hit at least 20 below at night, and once inside the bag, I would barely notice. Also, the collar is so puffy you barely need a pillow. I LOVE THIS BAG. Thank you WM!
