Whirlpool W11346622 Refrigerator Water Reservoir and Filter Head Assembly

This worked perfectly! Arrived quickly and was exactly what I needed. My refrigerator started leaking at the water filter connection and I wasn’t sure how involved the repair would be. It took about 30 minutes for me to carefully follow the instructional video I found on YouTube to remove and replace the assembly. This part matched the old part perfectly. My 2020 refrigerator was leaking from behind the water filter area, and an exhaustive search lead me to this item. The part # listed on Whirlpool site was not made anymore, so finding the new part # was difficult. Thankfully, this listing had all of the part #s this one would cover. The Whirlpool site was only useful with a link to a video on how to install this on a similar refrigerator, but inlet was different. I had watched several videos online looking for a refrigerator like mine - french door, with a separate middle drawer, freezer on bottom. Using two different videos I cobbled together how to do it on mine. This is my second (and last) Whirlpool (neither purchased by me) and what I have had to do to keep the water out of these refrigerators is unbelievable. I am a senior woman, but taking the beast apart was doable. Moving the thing was the hardest part to access the back in a tight spot as I am quite small. Once the old part was out, this part fit in exactly like the previous one. Took me just over an hour, with just a screwdriver and a wrench. No leaking now. No plastic smell and water tastes fine. This item was a perfect fit for the factory water filter head and reservoir. The installation took about 40 minutes and went very well. It fixed the leak we had and saved many headaches. The only thing that disappoints me is that a week after i ordered it they lowered the price by $10. Read more
