I have been ordering and using their mounts for almost 10 years. I have suggested them to other people. I have stupidly tried other mounts, and none have come close to those made by WixGear. Magnet: The magnets are really strong. So much so, that when I unmount my phone, sometimes the mount comes with it (not this particular mount, but the one I had before, without the clamp to secure in the vent). Never Falls: This mount doesn’t have a lip that the phone rests on. It is purely dependent on the magnets and the rubber in front of the magnets, to keep it from slipping. With other mounts, on bumpy roads or long drives, my phone would slowly or just completely fall off the mount. I have never had a problem with this one. In my car, I only need one. The other I bring with me when I rent a car. I highly recommend this product. I just got a new phone. I wonder if it works with the MagSafe in the iPhone. If it does, I’ll update the review. Holds the phone in place with strong magnets and holds in vent very well without coming out which can be a concern with a vent type holder. * Update: does not hold in vents on 2019 Mustang. falls out on sharp turns of if pull phone out without being very careful. That said the vents are deep so the arm doesnt reach the back. Might be nice if it came with arms of different lengths? I will come up with some solution. Read more

This works really well. Issue with the mounting system is that the fins on my vent are thick so it was really difficult to get it to stay on. It has been staying on now, but took several attempts. This is a really nice item. Very pleased with purchase Read more
