Remarkably Authentic
One of the standout features of WRC Generations is its physics engine. The handling of the cars feels remarkably authentic and responsive providing a sense of weight as you navigate through corners or glide around turns. Each type of terrain whether it's gravel, asphalt, snow or ice offers an immersive experience. Additionally, the dynamic weather conditions can significantly impact your cars performance. However WRC Generations does have an areas that could use improvement. Some parts of the graphics might appear rough, in instances and the AI behavior can be somewhat inconsistent, at times. Hardcore rally sim - not for beginners
This game has excellent visuals and sound effects. Everything from the cars to the environment is extremely clear and looks beautiful. I especially liked the way certain sound effects use the little speaker inside of the PS5 controller! That said, this game was not enjoyable for me because of the difficulty. If you're a veteran of this type of serious racing sim, you will probably love this game. For me, frustrating does not equal fun. I'm tossing this one onto the trade-in pile. Read more
