Perfect Spikes for the hiking in know. It has great quality and came with easy to put on straps. I did few trails with this and it works great. On hard surface when you walk with this, it feels different but in snow it gives great comforts. Read more

Excellent product. Better than what I’ve been using for years to walk on icy roads. The spikes really give you the traction you need. The straps keep the cleat in place. Lightweight and more comfortable. Highly recommend! Read more

After getting stranded during the last ice storm due to dangerously slippery conditions, I decided to invest in Yaktrax Spikes for Walking on Ice and Snow. These have proven to be a game-changer! Even with the worst ice and snow conditions, I can now walk with confidence. The Yaktrax Spikes easily fit on both my boots and sneakers, so I believe they would work with almost any footwear. They’re quick to put on—takes just a minute—and they stay securely in place. What’s more, they feel incredibly durable and well-built, giving me confidence that they’ll last through many winters. I now keep a pair at home and one in the trunk of my car. These are a must-have for any winter emergency kit and have made dealing with icy conditions much safer and easier. Highly recommended for anyone dealing with winter weather! Read more

I'm 66 and live in east-central Wisconsin, so these have been a godsend in winter, to keep me from falling on ice and snow. The velcro straps that go across the top of your shoes/boots is great. The ones I had previously would pop off all the time and I'd have to backtrack in the snow to find them. Read more

Way better than original Yak tracks on ice. The spikes give a better grip. Just watch out for decks and floors while putting them on and off to avoid damage to the surface. That said they are not very secure on your boots. In snow they come off as soon as you lift your foot out of an inch of snow. The straps keep them attached but you just have bunched up rubber under your feet. Still a good value for the price but should not be advertised for use in snow. Read more

These easily slip over shoes or boots and stay there because of an elastic band. If you are concerned about falling on ice, these will give you some peace of mind. That is not to say you won't fall...depending on conditions but walking will be much easier. Read more
