When I took the head magnifier glasses out of the box, I thought it was a toy because it was smaller than what was shown in the ad. I gave it a try and it blew me away. It is lite on the head which makes for less strain on the neck, even with the lens inserted. You will forget you have it own. If you wear glasses, you know what I mean. I am so glad I can switch between the number of provided lenses and that they come in their own case. The lens are easy to insert and remove from its notch on the glasses as well as adjust to see where you needed them to. I am using the head magnifier to work with small jewelry parts, like crimp beads, crimp bead covers, seed beads and opening and closing jump rings. I can see what I am doing so much more clearly with this head magnifier which means less chasing smaller seed beads. The quality of these glasses are great. It will take much stretching of the arms to break them if you just want to use the arms instead of the headband that is included. I prefer the glasses arms because I can pull it off easily or just lift the lens bracket, to get my next item. These magnifying glasses are very functional, thus, useful for the other crafts I do also, like weeding vinyl when I work on small cricut crafts. Oh, if you ever need more light, just push the button on top of the glasses. Two pushes on the button will give you more light. Overall, if I could, I will give these glasses a ten. I know I will get my money worth and more from these glasses. Read more

I'm a fine scale modeler and I need to get close up when painting details on my models. I wear glasses (Near sighted) and have a stigmatism so I wasn't really sure if these would work... they do! I take my glasses off and use these exclusively when looking at details with no issues, much better than trying to look through my progressive glasses and trying to focus on tiny parts. Very comfortable for long sessions and light weight. The set comes with 5 lenses though I found for my work, I only really use one (the second from the strongest one). They do take a little getting used to as at first everything seems out of focus but once you get the distance to your subject right the eyes adjust and it is great. The light is pretty anemic so you will want your own good lighting, but that is the only con. Over all, they are a surprising value for the money and the great build quality. I would have expected to pay more for something like this, which is why I waited so long to buy them. Read more

I got these to cross stitch with so I didn’t have to keep moving my magnifier lamp from side to side. The magnification is great, and I like that you can adjust the angle of the lens as needed. I was worried the max magnification of 3x would not be enough, but it was just fine. I liked the glasses but I changed to the strap for more security. The product is very light weight and I like that I could comfortably wear it over my large, high bridge eyeglasses. Some cons for me: the light only has two brightness settings and it is more of a blue/cool tone light. I would have preferred something brighter but not an issue for me. I will also say I struggled to push the tab on the glasses with my thumb to change to the strap, the plastic is very rigid. I used another tool to push it down enough to release. The biggest issue for me is the pressure point. The hinge part is angle inward, presumably to help stabilize the product on the face. However, because of this, I am unable to use the item for more than maybe a half hour at a time as the pressure on my temple causes me to have a headache and joint pain in my jaw. I tested this throughout the day to be sure it was the hinge pushing a pressure point in my temple. I’ve loosened the strap so that it was not tight on my head but still secure. I tried it with the earpiece instead of the strap. So if you have a wide head, you may feel some discomfort over time. I still really like the item, but I’m a little disappointed I can’t just pop them on and mindlessly craft for long periods of time. Read more

I've got this mainly to change condenser in the Seiko kinetic watch. The job required handling tiny screws, which was a little problematic for me to do using my trusted 1.25 magnifier. Higher magnification lenses and the light worked great for the purpose, and I continue discovering new uses for it. Not sure if lenses are glass or plastic, what matters is that they appear to be of a good optical quality. Also, the box for storing lenses comes in handy. Thanks! Read more
