Very easy to follow clear verbal instructions and also multiple opportunities for modification within each exercise. I'm currently working through the third program within Vitality series. At this point I have done nine sessions within the three programs. Honestly, I see a measurable improvement in my mobility especially in my feet and ankles and neck movement. This has lifted my spirit and shown me that even in my mid-70s I can make a difference. I look forward each day to the program and hope to move through other challenges. Thank you so much. Dean is a great instructor with a nice voice. He's very easy to follow and listen to. Read more

Iβm so glad I bought this chair yoga DVD! Not only can I watch it to improve myself physically, but I can also stream the programs on my phone or cast them to my smart TV. The movements are gentle, relaxing, and surprisingly effectiveβIβve discovered muscles Iβd forgotten about! At 67, I really appreciate how the instructor explains everything so clearly and makes it feel easy and approachable. The sessions bring both movement and serenity, and I find myself looking forward to them. Economical, kind, and well worth it. Read more

I was looking for a yoga/ stretch DVD that anyone in my house can do and this includes kid, adult with past injury, adult with reduced depth perception (so not great balance), and myself (already active). I do yoga, pilates, and have started training to be more of a jogger. I desired a 'work-out' dvd that I could use for a warm-up or on a day that followed a hard work-out day for when I'm sore, because doing nothing can feel worse than gentle moving. This really helps with my circulation. So, although this wasn't intended for me, I thought it sounded great and I hoped it would be useful for getting other family members moving, as well. I bought this and another 'gentle yoga' DVD, but this DVD hits the mark! There are 4 levels and I have only used the level-1 30 minute session, so far, and I really like it. It's stretching from a chair and behind the instructor are 4 individuals doing the version of the stretch that works for them and their body. I think this is great and the man's voice and statements are mostly good, i.e. non-annoying. Also, he's wearing a shirt during the actual yoga, FYI and thank goodness. It's hard to look at the cover and I think was a weird choice for the intended audience. I don't need to see half naked strangers :P. But I digress. I just love his support and message of how you can start from any level and any body and if you work on these gentle stretches, over time your physical ability will improve in a safe, healthy, and enjoyable way. I know this message to be true because over my life of various exercises, I have learned this, that you don't have to force (and you shouldn't!) push too far out of antsiness or whatever. Over-time the movement you desire will naturally improve and happen, so take the gentle increase, a little over time, strategy. I think this DVD starts at a level that truly is for what they advertise: true beginners, general physical therapy, seniors, and they should just add 'anyone who wants a nice gentle stretch'. I'm really happy to have taken a chance on this and can't wait for my two physically impaired family members to try it! I have many work-out DVDs, but they start just too hard for them, which makes you not want to do it, you know? It's better to do something you view as easier and actually do it, than not at all. Alright, stepping off my soap box. Hope this helps persuade others to give it a try! Good job being healthy! Read more

The best yoga fitness chair exercises. Week 2 and still with the 1st of 4 routines. Each program offers 4 different fitness levels to follow along with depending on how much of a challenge (or not) you need or want. I feel better already. Easy to follow. I thought the 'reminder' emails would be annoying, but nope, they are filled with encouragement and helpful suggestions. This is a really good program and one that you'll want to stick with. Streaming is easy and works great. I look forward to these routines. Breathing better. Sitting taller. Read more

This is a good workout, with clear instructions. We are a small group -- 2 with yoga experience and one just beginning -- and all retired. The modifications are well done. We find that some poses -- like downward dog and plank -- are better done with the chair, because there is better stretch involved. We usually do level 1 and level 3 in our morning workout, and feel well-stretched when we're done. We had borrowed this DVD a few times and just now bought it -- because every time we've used it, the response is "We like this one!" Read more

When our chair yoga instructor at our local library needed a break, our librarian found this DVD to use in her place for our class. I was delighted to find a copy on Amazon. The stretches and exercises are shown at different levels by different demonstrators at the same time as the main instructor does them, so we can modify depending on "where we are" that day. No pain, but I (we) feel thoroughly worked out when finished. Read more

The program is nice. Different levels of each exercise make it accessible to every ability. The one thing that disappointed me was that the description mentioned being able to stream it. I figured you could stream it on your Fire TV. But according to the DVD insert you have to visit a different site, create a username and password and then stream it on that different site. I wanted to stream it on my TV not my phone or computer. I will be more than happy to update my review if I am able to stream on my TV. Read more
