Broadcast-Grade Power in Your Hands – The Ultimate Live Streaming Solution! I’ve been in the live production space for over a decade, and the YoloBox Extreme is hands down one of the most powerful and intuitive all-in-one live streaming devices I’ve ever used. If you're serious about multi-cam live production — whether it's for sports, events, worship, or content creation — this device is a complete game-changer. Here’s why I’m giving it 5 stars: Massive 8 HDMI Inputs This is a dream for any multicam setup. I ran 6 cameras and 2 graphics feeds into it during a football game — all ran smooth as butter. No lag, no dropped frames. The input switching is seamless and feels pro-grade. Clean, Touch-Based UI The large built-in screen is ultra-responsive and intuitive. You can easily drag and drop overlays, switch scenes, monitor sources, and control the entire production right from the display — no need for a laptop or external encoder.NDI, RTMP, SRT Support This unit truly supports professional protocols. I’ve used NDI for local network feeds and RTMP for streaming directly to YouTube and Facebook. It handles everything natively, and connection was rock solid even over Wi-Fi. Pro-Level Features in a Portable Rig Built-in ISO recording, scoreboard graphics, chroma key, instant replay, social media comments overlay, audio mixing, and more — all in one device. I used to need a switcher, encoder, and laptop to do what this unit does alone. Compact but Mighty For the power this thing delivers, it’s shockingly compact. It fits in a backpack and replaces half a studio’s worth of gear. You can roll into a shoot with just this and some cameras — and you’re ready to go live in 5 minutes. SD Card & SSD Recording You can record all inputs and the program feed simultaneously to an SD card or external SSD. I use this for immediate post-game highlights and backup — incredibly helpful for fast turnaround. Perfect for Mobile Streaming With built-in SIM card support and Ethernet/Wi-Fi, I’ve streamed live events from remote fields without a hitch. It’s truly designed for creators and broadcasters who need flexibility and portability without sacrificing quality. Final Thoughts: Yes, it’s an investment — but if you do any serious multi-camera live production, this is worth every penny. It simplifies your workflow, reduces setup time, and elevates your output to a professional level. I’ve already used it for live sports, church services, and studio shoots — and I’m blown away every single time. If you’re on the fence, don’t hesitate — the YoloBox Extreme is the real deal! I bought my Yolobox Extreme a few months ago and so far I really liked it. I also have the Pro version which I bought it back in 2023. My job depends on these units and yes they are not perfect but they did the job. Most of the time, the issue I had is due to user errors. I used to carry tons of equipment to and from all my shoots and now I carry a lot less equipment. Produces great quality video. Lots of functionality. I had very little connectivity issue in my experience of using these units. Read more

Updates are regular and helpful. Complicated to set up streaming to platforms if you're using FB or YouTube, MUST HAVE 100 followers AND be an admin for a FB page if you choose that like our church page. Timeline default works great. You will need 50 SUBSCRIBERS for YouTube before you get stream key. Period. Fast and friendly layout otherwise. Quality build. Read more

REVIEWED AFTER 6 month Ownership When I first received my Yolobox Extreme, I was cautiously optimistic about its potential. However, after several months of real-world use across various (Failed) productions, I can honestly say this device has severely impacted my video business—and not in a good way. Persistent Technical Issues Calling this unit "buggy" would be an understatement. Since purchase, I've installed at least six firmware updates, and each one has introduced a new set of problems. The issues I've encountered include: - Frequent freeze frames and system unresponsiveness - Video lag of up to three minutes - Unreliable NDI functionality - Audio problems and sync issues - Crashes during transitions or use of graphics - Random glitches and unexpected shutdowns - Poor bandwidth performance unless you purchase their additional bonding service Customer Support Concerns Getting meaningful support from YoloLiv has proven frustrating. While their emails are polite, they offer little practical resolution. They typically redirect users to their Facebook group, where critical feedback is actively deleted by moderators—I've experienced this firsthand, and numerous other users have reported the same censorship. This approach to community management raises serious concerns about transparency and accountability. The Bigger Picture What troubles me most is the pattern: the unit worked reasonably well initially, but each subsequent update has degraded performance. Built on an Android platform, I have little confidence these fundamental issues will be resolved. It appears customers are essentially serving as unpaid beta testers while certain influencers only promote positive aspects of the product. The $2000 price tag is way too high for an item that does not deliver on it's sale promise of providing live streaming options, NDI connectivity, multi camera switching, or anything else this company says the unit does. In summary, one would think that I got a bad unit, but I have since contacted other YoloBox Extreme and Ultra users and they also confirm these problems. There are FB pages and other sources online that also paint a same picture. Final Verdict I am now pursuing warranty options because I have not been able to use this unit successfully on a single production since purchasing it. For professional video work, reliability is non-negotiable. I recommend exploring other options that offer proven stability and responsive customer support. Read more
