Versatile and well built
Content: I was skeptical that the suction cup could hold strongly on the textured surface of my Opel Insignia 2009. I was wrong. The suction cup is very sticky and pliable. It seemed to form a very good seal. The product was shipped with no excessive or wasteful packaging and all components were contained snugly in a box. What’s in the box: 1*Suction Cup Mount 1*Adjustable Phone Holder, 1*YRU Cable Manager clip, 1*Sturdy Air Vent Clip, 1*User Manual, 1*Beautiful Packaging Box I think my favorite part of this is just how easy it is to get my smartphone in and out of it and how securely it holds it. The portion that holds the cellphone can accommodate a fairly large phone even with a case on it. The sides that hold it in expand automatically with the press of 2 side buttons - that my friends, is absolutely wonderful! Very simple to set up; simply remove the dial from the ball socket, slip the nut over the ball and then push the holder in place. Secure by screwing the nut and you are done. Easy. The base is secured to the dashboard with a secure suction and sticky substance. Before you stick down the base, figure out how and which way you would like to adjust your cellphone from and work it out. While you can reposition it at any time with a quick wash, best to work that out and get it right the first time. Then you simply wipe down your dashboard with the included wet and dry wipes, then stick the base down. Next, you push the suction tab down and voila, again, easy and done. There is also an included vent option, which seems easy enough to install, though I did not try this myself. I just recently purchased a new cabbed tractor and surprisingly not much thought was given to holding or storing an operator’s cell phone in a convenient fashion when operating the tractor. It is often inconvenient to dig your phone out of a pocket to receive/transmit a call or get the latest weather information while you are harvesting your crops. I have never been much of a fan of suction-cupped phone mounts because I found them cheap or flimsily made, falling onto your dash et cetera… NO MORE! but when I got this YRU car mount, it is "WOW"! This cellphone holder is rugged and fully adjustable six ways from Sunday! The ABS plastic used is of good quality and the unit feels robust and not flimsy. The holder comes with two types of mounts that are firmly attached to the phone holder itself via a ball and socket connection: a vent clip mount and a suction cup mount. While both mounts are very well made, the suction cup mount was my solution for I have a massive flat front windshield in the front of my cab. The kit contained good instructions for the proper mounting of their product as well as both alcohol cleaning and drying swabs. The suction cup is very tacky and once mounted on a smooth, properly cleaned surface it is nearly impossible to pull off without breaking the suction seal first! I liked how the holder has a built-in telescopic height adjustment to further configure your mounting. The arms of the phone holder securely hold your cases or uncased phones with rubberized, non-marring clamps. The release buttons are easy to operate and remove your phone. The phone is also cradled by a fixed bottom ledge that still allows you to attach your charging cable without interference. How did this jig perform? All in all, it cradled my cased iPhone 14 Pro and my HUAWEY securely and provided full, unfettered functionality in a convenient position. Operating the tractor over rough terrain did not dislodge my cell phone nor detach the holder itself. PERFECT! Cost-effectiveness and value: I was extremely satisfied with the quality and functionality of this product; it is well-made, rugged, and does the job it should in an efficient manner. At a current price of $29.99, I feel it is of great value for the quality and functionality delivered. The price reflects the quality of this product. In summary: The “Upgraded car phone holder mount” made by YRU is well made, will hold your cellphone securely, and provide unfettered functionality in a convenient position. I would recommend this product without reservation. I noticed it does shake a little while driving as i extended the telescopic arm all the way,but that's acceptable.I always had to find the end of the charging cable but with the cable organizer attachment ,you can clip the cables to it and its always there for you .this phone holder is really well designed and made .
