We were looking for another keurig because each of them broke after a year. My husband absolutely loves this. We haven’t tried the grinder, but he loves the machine and thr frother!! Read more

I finally got a chance to set this up and tried the main coffee maker first. The machine looks clean and modern on the counter, and the small footprint is great if you do not have a lot of space. It blends in well with other appliances without being bulky. The coffee temperature is good, hot enough to drink right away but not so hot that you have to wait for it to cool. For a single serve machine, the brew comes out at a comfortable, consistent temp every time. It is also fast which I really like, especially compared to my older machine that takes forever to drip out water. Cleaning it is easy. The drip tray comes off quickly and rinses without any issues. The reusable pod compartment is also simple to wash since everything pops open and you can see inside without struggling. The water reservoir removes easily which helps keep it clean long term. I have not tried the self-cleaning mode yet, but the instructions make it straightforward. I do not use the milk frother much, although it is nice to have for people who enjoy lattes or foam. The grinder works fine for small batches of beans, though I usually stick to pre-ground coffee. The machine supporting both pods and ground coffee is the main reason I wanted it. Filling the water tank is simple and the clear markings make it easy to see how much is left. The brew options from 6 to 14 ounces are useful, and even though it is meant for single servings, I can get two 14 ounce cups out of one reservoir fill. Overall, this is a compact, fast, and convenient coffee maker with a clean look and easy maintenance. It gives you flexibility without taking over your counter and makes a surprisingly hot, good cup of coffee. Read more

This single-serve coffee maker works well for brewing single-serve coffee and tea, using either K-Cups or ground/loose coffee/tea. Whole-bean coffee also works, using the included coffee grinder, and the included frother allows heating and/or frothing of milk for café au lait etc. The coffee maker is easy to set up and easy to use. Switching between K-Cups and ground coffee is as simple as opening the lid, lifting the K-Cup holder out of the coffee maker and dropping in the filter. For ground coffee, I prefer to use paper filters inside of the reusable filter, but it works with or without them. The tank holds enough water to make several small or a few large coffees, and selecting the size and mode (K-Cup or ground) is straightforward, using the touch controls. One negative is that the cover for the water filter is lifted off rather than using a hinge, and attempting to open it as if it had a hinge can cause it to fall into the tank. A hinge or a tighter fit would improve things. In my opinion, the best part of this coffee-maker set is the milk frother, which sits on top of an attachment that plugs into the side of the coffee maker. I’ve used frothers of this sort before, with similar results, but this one is better from a cleaning perspective than others I’ve used. With the others, even after rinsing, there’s usually a bit of milk residue that requires washing and mild scrubbing to remove. With this one, rinsing seems to be enough. Maybe the temperature doesn’t get quite as high as with the others, but whatever the reason, it’s more convenient. The coffee grinder is nice to have, and it sits on the same plug-in attachment as the frother. It isn’t a burr grinder, so it isn’t possible to select a specific grind and get a uniform result. You just have to grind until the result looks good enough. That’s probably fine for drip coffee, so it’s suitable for this coffee maker, but it wouldn’t be suitable for coffee makers that require a uniform grind, e.g., espresso makers. I’ve used this coffee maker for both coffee and tea, and it works well for both, but flavour from one or the other can linger in the brewing mechanism, so it’s best to wash the filter or capsule holder before switching from one to the other. The quality looks fine, and within expectations for a coffee maker in this price range. With the included frother and grinder, the value for money is good too. Overall, I’m happy with this coffee maker and can recommend it. Read more

Everyone in my house has their own coffee maker, and I’ve just been pinching a cup when I can here and there, but no more. I’ve been using this multi-functional coffee maker for a couple weeks now, and it’s a very capable machine. Amazingly, it brews both K-cup pods and ground coffee, and the adjustable quantities (6–14 oz) make it easy to pick the experience I’m craving. The built-in grinder is effective for a compact unit. It grinds beans to my liking pretty easily right before brewing, which puts it in line with a coffee place in terms of freshness, and the milk frother is pretty good too in terms of quality creaminess. There wasn’t even much of a learning curve. The easy to fill water tank makes refills quick, the adjustable tray means I can use a standard mug or like a travel cup. Maintenance is straight forward: I just run the self-cleaning cycle when it needs it. The looks of the main unit itself is pretty narrow and black so I hardly notice it. For the price of $69.99 and the footprint, this machine packs a lot of functionality; it’s become my champion coffeemaker in the house, I look forward to the smell of it every morning. It shows no signs of slowing and seems pretty hardy and durable. I cherish it so far and wiuld recommend. Read more
