Good little heater with solid build quality and better heat output than you’d expect given the small footprint. It warms up quickly and feels well-suited for targeted heating, especially under a desk, as long as you keep the intake and exhaust vents clear. Controls on the unit are intuitive, the modes and thermostat are practical, and overall ease of use is excellent. Noise level is also good. It runs quietly enough that it doesn’t become a distraction while working or trying to sleep. Safety features are reassuring as well, and the compact size plus carry handle makes it easy to move between rooms. Only real downside is the remote. On my unit, the range has been very poor. Even with a fresh battery and no obstructions, it won’t reliably work from more than about 14 inches away. That defeats a big part of the point of having a remote, so I have to dock a star. Overall, still a strong value for the money. If the remote performance were better, it would be an easy 5 stars, but as a compact, effective heater it’s still worth it. Read more

This little heater is a dynamo! It’s amazing how much heat comes out of it.. You can see the size of it in my photo next to my coffee cup. I have it in my office/studio next to my loom, to keep my feet warm and it does the job perfectly. It has a wicked remote control so I don’t need to get up from whatever I happen to be doing, to turn the heat up, down or just flat out off, when I get too warm. My office is about 20’x16’, not huge, but nothing to sneeze at either, and this heater warms in up before I’ve gotten through my first cup of coffee. It’s quiet, so no interference when I am on a call with a customer. It has a thermostat and turns itself off and on to stay at the temperature I want. I can even set a timer to have it on for a specific period of time so no worries when I wander off to the workshop or store and wonder if I’ve turned it off. It has the tip over safety feature, which gives me piece of mind when my cocker spaniel comes in all excited and could knock it over. I live in a drafty, century+ old house in Maine, and it gets cold. This heater is just perfect on those minus zero degree days. If you are looking for a workhorse of a space heater, this is it!
