I needed something modest and elegant for a funeral, and this dress felt like the right choice. It’s understated but flattering, and the fabric has a calm, gentle flow to it. Sometimes the smallest details — like feeling comfortable in your clothes — can make a hard day a little easier. Read more
The structure held within the pattern intended in presentation of this dress is as clear as the buttons in the front display. A pullover dress, no zippers or additional buttons to open or close, just admire without effort. The material is a blend of 95% polyester and closes with 5% spandex. Surprising to me was how this extended in so lightly blended, as a slip or sheath was needed, at least in my opinion this was needed to project a solid conformity, not showing both undies and bra when standing in lighting. I slipped (yes, I thought that was "punny") a slip on and was feeling more secure in wearing. The design of this dress was appealing to me, as I felt a few items in my wardrobe that stated professional, and not play were needed, this being one. However, I found the quality in manufacturing lacking, especially at the pricing this comes in at. I am sorry, perhaps a "just me" issue, but if the payment required to obtain this dress is given? To me that implies a level of engagement that I felt fell short within the many loose threads found from the cuffs, the bottom, and inside away from immediate sight. It appeared sloppy in production, and if I obtain a dress I invested over forty dollars in? I expect it to present as higher expectations climb as the pricing does also in my opinion. However, my opinion is not a standard for all to go by, it is an individual perception and level of expectancy the individual holds. Mine of course is not yours, so I do agree my experience may not be agreed with. Please use your personal judgement in purchase. This IS a well intended garment, it has many good qualities. Nothing within the extra threes were a total deal breaker, just a bit disappointing at the lack of care dropping at the end of production. But a few snip, snips and the threads are gone, out of sight, and onwards to wear. I had begun removing the threads, then thought to include for verification. I apologize for not including my findings before I began removal, but I have provided several examples of my comment. I think there are many lower priced dresses out there, and my expectations are not high. However in my personal thoughts? If the amount is higher? Then I would hope the garment would display a higher level of care in execution. Otherwise? It is a very likable dress, thank you. Read more
