The media could not be loaded. I ordered the 9.5”, fully clad, non-stick frying pan. I normally use fully clad aluminum and stainless, but I do miss the ease of a non-stick pan. That’s especially true when teaching my kids to cook. My 12 year old son scrambled TWENTY FOUR eggs in this pan, four at a time, on medium heat, and there was NO sticking. He used a teaspoon of fat with each batch. If my 12 year old son can do it, anyone can. No special skills required. It easily washed clean with a sponge and warm soapy water. Please look at my video and picture, demonstrating how easy-to-use and non-stick this pan is. This pan has a fully stainless clad aluminum core throughout the pan, not just on the bottom. This allows for even heating and no hot spots. There’s no plastic, so you can put this pan in the oven with no concerns about melting handles. It is oven safe to 500F. The stainless is high polish and beautiful. The non-stick is a type of ceramic that does not contain toxic teflon or PFOA, which is the only way I am going to use non-stick cook ware. This pan might be more pricey than average, but it performs well, is good quality, and made from safe materials. That is what is most important to me. I believe it will last a while if used properly. This is a pretty good frying pan. It does require a little babying--heating gently at first, not using scouring pads--but it is great to have a pan that is dishwasher safe and oven safe, and without teflon. I use a good dollop of olive oil or butter, and the sticking is minimal, but not non-existent. In the second photo you can see a little stuck egg, but it came off pretty easily. It has flat bottom and cooks evenly. It has at good weight, thick enough the distribute heat but not nearly as heavy as cast iron. Im not sure how everyone else seems to be enjoying this pan better than me. I wanted to give it three stars for the non-stick, but I decided on 4 stars based on the quality and feel. It feels heavy enough to be premium, but light enough to manipulate with ease, if that makes sense. I definitely don't feel like its going to break anytime soon. The non-stick is where I take issue. And just so its clear, I have ONLY cooked eggs in this pan. It seems to handle a fried egg better than scrambled eggs, that is for sure. In fact, if it were just fried eggs, Id give it 5 stars. With scrambled though, it struggles. I'm definitely cleaning a lot of stuck to the pan eggs after I cook scrambled eggs. I love the quality though. On that note the instructions state not to use anything metal, which is fine as most pans are the same. Its just worth noting that the expensive name-brand "clad" pans allow you to, so if you're thinking of purchasing this as a non-name brand equivelant, its definitely not equivelant. I immediately noticed the simplicity of the packaging. It was refreshing to see simple, non-intrusive and straightforward packaging. I have been cooking anywhere from 1-3 meals a day for the past 20+ years. I haven't tried this particular advancement in non-stick technology. So far, I'm impressed! This pan has a good weight to it. The handle is solid and feels comfortable in my hand. By all measures, this appears to be a very high quality pan. This is also a visually striking pan. Without even handling or using the pan, you can see that it is a quality piece of cookware. I have tried cooking several different things in this pan. Each time, the food was cooked to my liking with minimal sticking or clean up afterwards. While this would be a bit more than what I'd typically spend for a small frying pan, the quality cannot be understated. Because of that exceptional quality, I do feel the price is fair. This is a wondwrful fry pan. While it cooks beautifully, the feature I appreciate most is the ease of cleaning it. I was dubious that the shiny exterior would clean well, but was so delightfully surprised at how easy it was to clean the pan to like-new. I have a full set of a quality american made steel pans, and they don't clean nearly as easy as this fry pan. A bonus is it's much less expensive. It works flawlessly on my induction stove top.
