This caddy did not disappoint. The metal parts are aluminum so won't rust in the dampness. It hangs on the shower arm and is steadied bu twp large suction cups that can be adjusted up and down. There are two large removable plastic trays that can hold a bunch of shower stuff. The trays can be taken out and cleaned occasionally if necessary. The aluminum frame lower ends are formed upward to create two hooks for washcloths and hanging a squeegee or whatever. I cleaned the polished ceramic tile with both a glass cleaner and thend wipe with alcohol in order to make a perfectly clean surface to stick the suction cups. If the surface receiving the suction cups is clean and dry the cups should hold nicely. I only took about five minutes to install this thing after I had the tile cleaned for the suction cups and it has been in place without a problem since. I am very pleased with this caddy and look forward to years of service from it. Read more

I've searched long and hard for the perfect shower caddy, and while this one isn't perfect, it's the best I've found so far for my needs. I like it enough that I just ordered a 2nd one for our other bathroom. I don't like the white rubber-coated caddies, and have had nothing but bad luck with stainless caddies (they rusted out in a matter of months). This one is better-looking than rubber caddies, and because it's aluminum, will never rust. I like that the inserts are removable, which makes them very easy to clean. Other reviewers have mentioned that you can't put anything very tall in the bottom insert, which is true. We have built-in shower/tub inserts in both bathrooms, where we keep taller bottles and other tall objects. But the built-ins don't work well for smaller items, while the caddy is perfect for the smaller stuff. Overall very happy with this purchase. Read more

For over 3 DECADES, I've been searching for a "solid cast aluminum" shower caddy, as I live across the street from the Pacific Ocean: ANYTHING with a ferrous metal is just a 'rust magnet' and this is the ONLY shower caddy that I've ever found to be entirely constructed out of ALUMINUM. I've tried plastic, "chrome" (rusted within a month) and other "rust resistant" shower caddies, only to be majorly disappointed with the ultimate rusting (oxidation) that took place on them. Being non-ferrous metal, aluminum cannot rust, although it can corrode, but not as intensely as rust with eat at steel. The plastic inserts pop out easily and can be placed in the TOP rack of the dishwasher to clean properly. Would recommend HIGHLY to anybody who's tired of "rusting shower caddys"........ Read more

I'd recommend this for people who really want a shower caddy that doesn't rust. The plastic bins obviously will not rust, and so far the metal frame has shown no signs of rusting either. The bins drain pretty well and don't rapidly accumulate water or soap scum. They are also easy to clean. The only negatives are that it is a little shorter (i.e. hangs a little higher) than I expected. It can be a little awkward to put tall shampoo bottles in it because the showerhead can get in the way. For some people, this could possibly be a deal-breaker. Also, the first one we ordered arrived with one of the hooks broken off, suggesting the aluminum frame may be a bit brittle. But...unless you drop it a lot or deliberately try to break it, it should be fine. Read more

Top shelf is 11.5" to very top of caddy; bottom shelf is shy of 7". Previous caddy (a rusted BBB Large Shower Caddy) was 13"/9" Pros: - IT WILL NEVER RUST! - Simple, clean styling - Removable trays - may be easier to clean soap scum off of than wires; they drain well and accommodate upside-down bottles Cons: - Too short - Slid down shower stem (but you could fix this with a pair of pliers) - Both suction cups landed on grout lines - they can't be adjusted left-right There aren't a lot of rust-proof shower caddies out there: Zenna/Zenith makes three aluminum ones: - NeverRust With Plastic Inserts: 11.5"/7" shelves - NeverRust with 2 Bucket Shelves: 10"/8.5" shelves (estimated) - NeverRust with Bucket Shelf: 13"/5.5" (estimated) OXO Good Grips makes three, all with great shelf clearance, though they are either tall or wide: - Stainless Steel 3-Tier Shower Caddy 2.0 - SteeL Lift & Lock Shower Caddy - Big Bin Shower Caddy simplehuman currently makes one, which is comparable to the OXO Lift & Lock in dimensions and adjustability These smaller caddies are advertised as stainless steel: - Simplex Shower Caddy - Glasse Shower Caddy, Clear But given all the other manufacturers who advertise stainless steel when in actuality it's just stainless steel finish, I'm a little skeptical Read more
