The switch was easy to connect to my Hubitat system, and worked immediately to turn the light on and off. My only concern is with dimming. When I dim the light to 1%, it still appears brighter than I expected. But I’m not unhappy enough to replace it. Read more
I have purchased a few of these switches and use them with Home Assistant. These switches allow for diming lights and I have tried dimming LED lights and it works well. I typically use these as simple on/off switches. One thing to consider when setting these up is to set the "[23-112-0-8] State After Power Failure" setting in Z-Wave JS to "[1] Always on" if this is used on a switched outlet. This setting will allow the light or device to be powered on by turning the physical light switch off, wait a few seconds, then turn the physical light switch back on. I had not thought about this until I had one connected to a physical switch and wanted to be able to use it in addition to Home Assistant to turn the light on.
