I bought this for my daughter for Christmas, so she would stop taking the pieces from my Dyson, to her room. We used it for the first time New Year’s Eve and I was amazed! She has waist length hair and a lot of it. We used small sections of hair that were 80% dry, curled the larger part near the scalp, hit it with the cool shot and off to release beautiful curls. We have used my actual Dyson barrels on her hair for over a year and never had these results! The cone shape gave beautiful curls that held through morning. Definitely worth the money! The media could not be loaded. This long barrel attachment fit my T-gogo air styler perfectly. It pops on and off easily just like the other attachments it came with, and other Dyson compatible attachments I have. It is bidirectional and easy to switch directions mid-style by just twisting the gold piece on the end. The barrel heats up quite well, but that gold end stays cool enough to handle comfortably. The curling function works great for my hair, and the quality is just as good as any of the other attachments that I have. I recently picked got this long barrels attachment for my Dyson Airwrap (I have the first edition), and I’m so glad I did. It attached seamlessly (I was worried it wasn't going to fit since it's a different brand) and switching the direction of the airflow was super simple, just like with the original attachments. The length of these barrels is perfect for my long hair. I’ve been using the shorter barrels that came with the Airwrap, but they take forever since I have to use really small sections to get a proper curl and dry everything fully. With the longer barrels, I can curl larger sections, which has cut down on my styling time. The airflow feels just as strong and even, and the results have been the same smooth, bouncy curls that you get with the Dyson attachments. I added a photo of one of the curls I got with this attachment! Honestly, I don’t have anything negative to say about this attachment. It works exactly how I hoped it would and has made styling my long hair so much faster and easier. If you have longer hair and use the Dyson Airwrap, I definitely recommend adding this to your collection, it’s totally worth it. Read more

As a first gen Dyson air wrap owner, I’m thrilled to have this conical longer barrel that wasn’t included in the first gen kit. I have longer hair a few inches past my shoulders which made the short barrel has a pain to use. The top of this barrel clicks left or right to switch sides of the curl (another plus the first gen doesn’t have). I have medium thick hair and it curls my hair pretty quickly when slightly damp— each section within 30 seconds or so. The strength of the air wrap seemed just slightly less than the original barrel it came with in that I had to place a section of my hair on the barrel for it to grab onto it (the original snatched sections up by just barely being near my hair). The barrel is made of ceramic just like the originals and seems well made. It works well for me and saves me so much time compared to switching between left and right barrels with the original. Reviewing: Esctabalt Long barrel attachment to fit Dyson Airwrap. .78 "- 1.25" Color: plastic gray & goldish I've got naturally straight baby fine hair. So like me, I'm sure first thing you'll want to know is: ***Does it fit the Dyson Airwrap? Well, it does! But...let's go on to: *** the look of this attachment. I was not impressed. It is a very cheap looking flat gray with "gold" on the top knob. Yes, I wrote knob. You turn that one way or the other to change the vent direction of how you want your hair to wrap. The knob does work and it will change direction of your auto-wrap. So this is the major problem. I tried 5 times to put and keep a long curl in my long bangs. As soon as I set it with the cool shot, I'd take it off the barrel and I'd have a frizzy mess for about 3 minutes and then no curl.. nothing. I won't let this stay on my hair longer than a 15 second count though cause the plastic gets really hot and I'm not sure what it'll do to my hair. I bought the airwrap because it is designed to give you curl and not destroy your hair. My airwrap works like a charm, I can't tell you the technology behind it but this attachment might fit it and wrap my hair in the direction I want but that's as far as it goes. This attachment is close enough to the real thing to be totally worth it. It fits our Dyson Airwrap (HS01) perfectly and works surprisingly well for curling and waving. The auto-wrap function isn’t quite as smooth as the original barrels, but it gets the job done with a little patience. My wife loves the variety in curl size with the conical shape, saying it looks more natural and effortless. Read more
