I have been needing something like this for the summer. I'm glad I found it so when summer comes again, I'm prepared. We use a portable air conditioner in the garage during summer, & I bought a vent thing to go on the outside of the wall, plus a coupler I thought would attach the exhaust tubing to the wall went, but it doesn't seem to work. This is what I really needed to go in between the wall vent & the exhaust tube. The coupler will only work to put 2 exhaust tubes together. So I'm glad I find this & I'm very glad this has the cover part too so when it's not in use I will still be able to keep it the enormous draft. This has all mounting hardware too. It feels like durable plastic that is well made. Quality product that is necessary for my set up. It didn't include any installation instructions but it does seem very simple. Highly recommend. I have a portable AC in my garage, but I just taped the vent hose to the exhaust vent duct. The problem I hope to solve with this wall mount connector is that I have to re-tape it every time I move the portable AC. It sits in front of some cabinets and I hope this will allow me to just pull the hose out, and then reinsert it when I'm done, without having to go through the trouble of taping it shut every time. It seems like a nice product. The cover screws on tightly and it has an affixed silicone gasket to seal it against the wall. At 6.7" in diameter, it does seem a bit larger than my other parts and so I may need to buy a larger hose to work with it, but I'll deal with that when I install it. I'll also update this review with any pertinent information that I gather while installing it, but I think it's all going to work out great. Read more

This fits our portable air conditioner outlet perfectly. It does require some skill to cut the right size hole through the inside and outside of your exterior wall in a location that doesn’t contain wires, pipes, or a stud. Also, I would recommend buying and installing a mounting block for vinyl siding for a clean installation. I don’t think this would be practical for any sort of stone or masonry siding. Mounting screws are exposed, so if you don’t want that atheistic you might want a different product. Read more

I'm very happy with the dual size wall-through for my portable air conditioner. There's a big difference when there's no air leak. I also wrapped the exhaust hose with reflective insulation from Amazon to improve the balance of cold air produced by the machine and the hot air it takes to make it. Wall mount connector is easy to install and looks professional both inside and outdoors. The hassle of venting a portable air conditioner is over! Read more
