So far, really really happy with it. I use it in my bedroom during the hot, hellish nights of a Texas summer, so I don't have to turn the thermostat down for the entire house. I had an older one that I used for years in Colorado, but when I brought it here, I had to empty the condensation tank every other day. I NEVER had to empty it in Colorado. For that reason, I started looking for a new one. This model was cheaper and more powerful than my previous model, AND it advertised a feature where it vents the condensation back into the room for less tank draining. I was looking for an actual portable ac unit (not a swamp cooler) for our garage, and this unit is absolutely perfect. Easy to set up and vent. Cools just as well as our central air system. The timer and remote are nice features. The only thing I can fault is that for me, it is a little noisy. But definitely doesn’t take away from the overall product performance. Read more

Definitely one of the best purchases I’ve made. I LOVE this thing. This past Summer in Southern California I used it every night because it was unusually humid here in Los Angeles (one day my weather app showed it was 98% humidity, wha? That’s worse than Florida. I can’t sleep when it’s humid so I needed this and it met my needs perfectly. THE GOOD: - gets the room cold super fast - numerous super handy functions like timer, swing (which pans the air left and right), different modes so you can use it as a fan also - built in temperature gauge which displays the current temp in the room and also so you can set the temp you want it to cool the room to. - comes with a remote which is super handy when your across the room. - very small drain on power so my electric bill didn’t really go up that much. THE BAD - really nothing except it is kinda loud and I live in an apartment so I try to be considerate to my neighbors when I run it at night. Read more

We love this compact sized cooler. We have a larger one in the house but we needed another for the bedroom and this did not disappoint. If I had to complain I would love to have visible controls on the product. At first I though that not having the buttons visible when the cooler is not running was very elegant, however, when we started having the cooler turn itself off when we did not instruct it to do so, we thought we had a defective product. Finally we figured out that we were accidently setting on the timer as we were turning it on and setting temperatures, etc. Apparently, it's quite sensitive to input when your hand is in the area of the control buttons and we would swipe the timer button. So, obviously, it was operator error, but two of use inadvertently did it so I think a visual queue would be nice. Read more

I have bought two of these units. I have one in my basement that runs 24/7 without any issues. The other is in a spare room that is used occasionally. One thing I did do was hook the drain line to a condensation pump so I don’t have to worry about draining the unit. I would definitely purchase again. Read more

This is a piece of crap! It didn’t even power on and the motherboard is getting no juice! Worst of all, I want my refund and Amazon doesn’t even want to ship this back complimentary.
