So far so good. Have had zero problems getting sponge system started. Shook it up, tapped it on my scalp along the part line & crown, 5-10 taps at a time, then wash my hands to prevent transfer to dogs. Repeat 2x/day. Flows well, not too much and not too little. Sponge system seems less prone to clogging than roller systems. Less messy than foam. Minoxidil is a cardiac medication so even small amounts can be toxic to dogs cats & other smaller creatures. I appreciate the extra level of safety that’s inherent w/sponge application method. Minoxidil can take a few weeks to work into natural hair cycles so I expect some continuation of hair loss until everything gets in sync. To minimize risk of the not-yet-used bottles drying out, I store them in double layer of plastic bags w/ the air squeezed out & keep in a cool place. Read more

Update: I have been using this for over one month. It has reduced shedding significantly. Caution: Facial hair has increased as well, but I like how thick my eyelashes have gotten(I am a female in mid 50s). So easy to use. I used to use formed version. They were easy enough to apply, but there was so much waste, and it got too much form on hair. The only improvement I would make on this product is a size of the tip, it should be a little smaller.
