As you can see in my photos of this iron it’s huge, for comparison you can see the barrel is larger than my 2 toggle light switch on the wall. This is basically three 1 1/4 inch curling irons in a row so it is a bit heavy to use. That being said it works beautifully, especially on my very long straight hair. I’ve owned a hot tools mermaid crimper for years but this one is much better because it’s able to do all my hair in a few minutes due to the size. It heats up fast and goes up to 450 degrees. It left my long hair with beautiful big waves and reminded me of the girl from the movie Splash. Read more

This wave crimping, hot iron is very large and best used with very long hair, more than shoulder length. The barrel and cover do not collapse down very tightly. Therefore, it is easy for hair to fall out, especially if your hair is finer or thin. You do need a lot of product in order for the waves to stay intact. The iron heats up very quickly. Read more

Easy to use hair crimper for beach waves type of look. Easy to use, love that it’s purple and so pretty. Heated up quickly and I was able to do my hair pretty quickly, I kinda cheat because I sleep in 1 braid and then crimp a few pieces and leave a few pieces out for that effortless look. I spray hair spray to help it not frizz too much and sometimes I finish off with a small amount of mousse just for a light hold. Read more

My hair has been through the works of perms & bleach so I was playing it safe by using the lowest setting. The low settings gave a nice loose wave to my hair. It can be a little bulky & awkward doing your dominant side so just watch your fingers and ears. Read more
