For the longest time, I had been getting along using the box grater my mother had passed down. It was old, small, broke occasionally, and only one of the four sides worked for what I used a grater for. I finally let go if that old thing, and I'm glad I did. This makes grating things so much easier! The handle is sturdy, and so is the grater, whether it is being used on top of the measuring cup or not. It is a little large, which was a plus for me, but I think anyone with smaller than average hands might have a little more trouble than I did. It also came with a citrus zester, and I have been enjoying how easy it is to zest citrus for my desserts. It is very sturdy. I can tell this is quality made and will last a while. I love the measuring cup that snaps into the bottom. It even has a lid so you can shred directly into the measuring cup, pop the lid on and put it in the fridge. So it’s perfect for prepping things ahead. Read more

This box grater replaces a decades-old one that finally rusted out. I wish I'd thrown that old one out years ago!
