I’m genuinely impressed with this knife. It’s incredibly sharp and beautifully made, so definitely handle it with care. The olive wood handle feels amazing in the hand—comfortable, solid, and the natural grain looks absolutely gorgeous. What really surprised me is the forward-extended blade design. It gives the knife such a well-balanced feel that the moment you start using it, everything just feels smooth and natural. Cutting fruit or vegetables takes almost no effort at all. It’s one of those things you don’t fully understand until you actually try it. The blade is made from Swedish 14C28N steel, which is known for great rust and corrosion resistance. I’m looking forward to using it more to see how the steel performs over time, but so far this knife has been outstanding. Honestly, a fantastic purchase. Highly recommended. Read more

The media could not be loaded. I’m honestly blown away by this knife. The Swedish steel blade is razor sharp and slices through every vegetable with zero effort—carrots, onions, cabbage, you name it. The cuts are so clean that even herbs don’t bruise. It has instantly made my prep work faster and way more enjoyable. The olive wood handle is absolutely beautiful and feels incredibly comfortable in the hand. The balance is perfect, and the knife has this smooth, controlled feel that makes you more confident while chopping. What surprised me most is the craftsmanship. Everything from the grind to the finish looks like something from a high-end European brand, but at a much better price. It also comes in a gorgeous gift box, which makes it an easy pick for gifting. If you cook vegetables even a few times a week, this knife is a game-changer. Easily one of the best purchases I’ve made for my kitchen. Read more

The media could not be loaded. This nakiri blew me away right out of the box. The packaging looks super classy, like something you’d buy as a gift. The knife itself is even better. The Swedish steel blade is crazy sharp and just glides through veggies—no sticking, no crushing, just clean slices. The olive wood handle feels great in the hand, really natural and easy to control. I’ve been using it almost every day and it’s quickly become my go-to knife for anything veggie-related. Honestly, for this price, it feels like a steal. Read more

Wanted to add a Nakiri knife to my set, and this is perfect. Beautiful olive wood handle and super sharp. Cuts very nicely I wish it came with a sheath or holder of some sort so I can put in the drawer. I will have to look around for one on Amazon that will fit it. Read more

The media could not be loaded. I’ve been putting this Nakiri knife through its paces, and there’s a lot to like right out of the box. The presentation is clean and upscale — definitely giftable. The blade? Razor sharp. It glides through vegetables like butter, delivering clean, precise cuts with minimal effort. If you prep a lot of produce, this will feel like a major upgrade from your average kitchen knife. The handle has a nice aesthetic touch with the olive wood, and the balance is decent — not perfect, but enough to make fine chopping feel stable. However, I do wish the knife had a little more weight to it. It’s surprisingly light for the price point, and that lack of heft can make it feel less premium in-hand, especially for those used to heavier German-style knives. Also worth noting: the blade is advertised as Swedish steel, but the knife is manufactured in China. That’s not a dealbreaker for me, but at $62, I expected either a more substantial feel or a slightly lower entry point. If this came in around $40–$45, I think it’d be a better value. Bottom line: sharp, stylish, and functional — just wish it packed a little more punch for the price. Pros: ~Very sharp out of the box ~Clean, smooth cuts ~Attractive design and packaging ~Easy to control for precise work Cons: ~Feels lighter than expected ~Slightly overpriced for what it delivers ~Manufactured in China despite the Swedish steel claim Read more

The media could not be loaded. This 6.5" Nakiri knife in your hand, with an olive wood handle is a beauty to behold. The handle is a finely made artifact in its own right. The blade was designed to be a sharp honed piece of fine Swedish metal. When holding this knife its balance and incredibly sharp blade gives you the confidence that you can take on anything with successful determination. The first piece of beef I decided to cut felt like warm butter. I placed the knife over the area to be cut and just pushed down. With no sawing motion it cut right thru the 3.5"-4" slice of beef to create a steak. Slicing and chopping large onions produced the smallest finely diced pieces I've ever cut. I took another 4"x6" piece of beef and slowly cut a .5 cm thin slice, while turning (rolling) the meat and producing a very thin long strip, perfectly even all the way across. I want to give this knife 2 months, to be fair, to see how it holds up. If it is as good as I believe it is, I will invest in the other three olive handled knives in this set. I have included a video showing the ease of cutting with this knife. This is 5 Stars. Read more
