This is a good overhead light for a shop. It is bright and has multiple color settings from warm white to bright white. I have this installed over my workbench in my shop and puts out plenty of light for a large area. I have it installed about 10’ up no it covers an area 10’ x 10’ very well. Good, diffuse light. exceptional brightness for the power consumption. A choice of mounting techniques. The surface mount plate has a retaining loop to hold the lamp during servicing. It's never fun to watch lamp tumble down a ladder. :( I found no instructions concerning the small pink and purple wires coming out the back of the lamp. 10V dimmer? I'll feel safe using this light in the presence of combustible fumes. I won't put a price on NOT burning but this would be a low price to pay. Read more

Wow this light is super bright! It's build quality is great as well. It has a nice removable bracket with hook to hang light while connecting wires and performing maintenance. It has plenty of options for connection and conduit/cable entry which makes things even easier. Once installed, it has a very simple yet attractive appearance that doesn't stick out like a show thumb. I have paid double what this costs in the past for lights nowhere near as good of a light so it's a great value for your money. Read more

This thing is BRIGHT! Super nice quality. Aluminum housing, wiring seems good. I tried to use my kill-a-watt meter, but seems like it finally broke, so I couldn't verify the 70 watt claim, but from what I know about LED lights, and the many I've used, I don't doubt its pulling as much. Lights up my entire garage. The fluted lense is a nice touch so you don't see the light after walking away from it. Super easy to install. The dimming and light color functions are great touch as well. These are an excellent value for your money, and will absolutely be buying more of these! Read more

I use this for an indoor application in a garage and its brightness can’t be understated. It’s hard to translate in photos, but I replaced a folding LED triple panel bulb style light with this unit. The difference is pretty staggering. This unit was pretty easy to install, and the build quality is very good. It comes with a mounting plate that screws in through a standard circular outlet. The back of the light has a clip that connects into this base plate this takes the weight so that you can easily connect the 110 connection. This was awesome because when you’re standing on a ladder, trying to install this, you easily hang it up, allowing you to work hands-free and not worrying about having to hold the fixture while you secure the connections. I thought this was very ingenious. This light is very bright and a good value for the money. It has nice functionality where you can adjust the brightness and the temperature of the light through a waterproof portal. I left it on high power and bright daylight setting, which is what I prefer. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with this item. It’s a great upgrade even compared to a very bright LED light.
