I’m really excited to be adding this knife to my collection. It came very sharp and works very well! It is well balanced and feels good in the hand. It cut a loaf of French bread very easily. It is a definite upgrade from the faberware knife that we have. I like that this knife is heavier than some of the others I have had. It looks great on my knife bar. I also really like that it is one solid piece of metal which makes it both durable and easy to clean! It also came with a little cloth for maintaining the blade. Read more

This knife is decent. It definitely cuts bread and is very sharp. The quality is alright, i'm not sure why but one of the little black engravings on the handle was filled in with sharpie on mine. I know this because the black was a different shade than the other engravings, and i was able to wipe it clean off with rubbing alcohol, while the others stayed filled in. This made it feel like a cheap cover up, or possibly a used product that the previous owner tried to cover up. Either way, still a decent knife. I do wish it came with a cover for the blade, as selling a singular knife with no cover seems a bit unprofessional. It's a decent weight, definitely functional for the purpose of cutting bread, and does feel comfortable in the hand. Read more

My old bread knife was a complete joke. I'd spend hours making a perfect loaf of sourdough only to have my knife completely destroy it. It would just squish the whole thing and make a huge mess of crumbs. It was genuinely stressful every single time. I saw this knife and the handle looked kind of different and ergonomic. I'm glad I got it. That handle design actually makes a big difference. It gives you a really solid grip and you feel like you have a lot of control when you're cutting through a thick crust. The blade is sharp and it just glides through the bread. My slices are finally coming out clean and not all jagged and torn up. It feels sturdy since the whole thing is stainless steel. I came to appreciate a sharp knife after I started making homemade sourdough bread on a regular basis, which is notoriously difficult to slice, especially high hydration loaves that tend to collapse while being sliced. This Lucesesa shark series stainless steel knife not only cuts through sourdough bread effortlessly but also makes quick work of lettuce, onions, tomatoes and a dozen other food items that I have tried it on over the past few days. The knife that came in my block set was not very good. Plus, it was not long enough for my big loaves of artesian bread. This knife sliced through it like butter.
