I'm seriously amazed with these. We bought them kinda thinking they would be a gimmick but I was totally proven wrong! As long as they're applied to clean skin (we wiped with a baby wipe before applying a new one so it stuck) they really do exactly what they should. We were able to stay on top of sunburn all week at the beach! Read more

It's not THESE stickers fault, but I think all these kinds are just not worth it really. Just set a reapply timer! Read more

I thought these would be great for my grandchildren I was wrong they didn’t work. My grandson was smothered in SPF and the purple never faded away. Used several different kinds of sun block but they didn’t change color to clear. Don’t waste your money on them. Read more

This 80 Pack UV Detection Stickers for Sunscreen is great! You apply them to clean dry skin to get the best adhesion, then after they are stuck on, you apply sunscreen as normal. The stickers turn purple when you no longer have enough UV protection and its time to apply more! They are very cute too - its enough that they work, I like the seaside designs! Great tool for making sure that the sun doesn't become too much and you can stay on top of proper sunscreen application! I loved the idea of these. They are very reactive to UV which is a good way to tell how much exposure it out. However, the sunblock didn't really stay or absorb into the stickers so the intended use of trying to tell when sunblock needs to be reapplied didn't really work for us. My kids liked poking at the stickers and rubbed any sunblock off the sticker long before they needed a reapplication. We do still use them to show the kids when there is a lot of UV outside and how when they need to protect themselves. Read more

They do work, but they do not stick to the skin where the sunblock is. Read more

When I'm outside and sunscreened all day, it's tough to know exactly when to reapply, so I really liked the idea of these stickers when I saw them. I like the way that they work- they start out clear, when you're inside, and turn purple pretty immediately when you walk out into the sun. After applying sunscreen, you have to wait for the sunscreen to dry before the sticker turns clear. When you need to reapply, they slowly start turning purple again. I've taken a shower without removing the stickers first, and they stayed on really well! (So, they should stay on while you're in a pool or the ocean.) And the ones I didn't scrub with soap turned purple again, once I went back into the sun. (So, I wouldn't recommend reusing them after a shower, but I figured I'd test their water resistance, since I wasn't swimming with them.) When using them on yourself, you'll need to put them somewhere you'll be able to see them, unless you trust someone else to tell you when it turns purple. I think these would work really well on kids' faces, for parents to monitor while their kids are playing in the sun. I also liked the cute little images on the stickers. Read more

These are really cute little stickers - and they are very easy to apply and stay stuck on, even in the water, until you remove them so that was great! I even applied one to my little grandbaby and had no problem putting it on or taking it off. Unfortunately, they do not come with ANY instructions in the package so you need to either remember what the instructions are from when you ordered or you'll have to refer back to Amazon when you go to apply them. It's not super hard - but at the beach we weren't sure how purple they would turn and when we needed to reapply the sunscreen so they weren't super helpful the first day. We did get used to them and then got better at reapplying and you certainly get enough in the package so they last a while and are not expensive - so if they keep my grandbaby (and everyone else, too) from burning, they are so worth it!
