Bought this intended only as a gift for my boyfriend, but was surprised when it came, the overall quality looks the same as on the picture, really feel like I should use it myself. First impression out the box, looks and feels very sturdy and high quality, clean packaging reminds me those of apple products. Its aluminum base feels pretty rigid and especially elegant, nice pairing with my mac in terms of style and material. those general plastic stand is ok to use, but this metal one really wins my heart with the simple and sleek design. Function wise, the two holders are pretty versatile for both my mini and pro. They clip pretty tight though, better than I expected that no slippery feel. Have tried different viewing angles and rotate the clamps in various direction and works fine so far. Really like the fact when turning my ipads, it has this good damping feel, which is not loose at all, but also not too tight very good quality. So far I have used it for watch movies, feels convenient when I constantly switch btw portrait or landscape. I really love this product mainly because of the way it looks and its setup. With the bracket holder my ipad is grabbed in a tight fashion and I don’t have to worry about it might fall off. I have been searching for a stand that is easy to mount ipads but rigid and protective at the same time, this one exactly serves the purpose. Aluminum material really surprised since I didn’t expect this high quality feel, great match for my apply gadgets. I don't use my iPad Air too much, but now it sits on this stand next to my computer monitor as a backup device for Teams meetings. Looks neat and pretty on my desk and does its job well. The only flaw I can find is that mounted device extends close to the front edge of the base. With iPad or other larger tablet, the center of gravity is shifted to the front and makes it more likely to tip and fall forward if accidentally snagged. Read more

I originally was going to buy those name-brand stands with very low prices, but I chose this stand due to its sturdy design and turned out it is well worth the price. The foot, with rubber pads attached at the bottom, gives it great stability, while it can be adjusted to all kinds of angles you need (instead of just a few fixed position). Each position is very secure since the joint that enables the movement is really tight and the attached hex wrench can be used to tighten it up when gets loose. The iPad stand is perfect. It’s a good size. The weight is sturdy enough yet it is still somewhat lightweight. I am a realtor and used it to have buyers sign into my Open House and it worked great! Excellent quality. Not flimsy. It gives you two choices for what I call the clamps, which hold different size tablets. My Samsung Tab A with its case fits beautifully and is easy tomove vertical/horizontal. I liked it so much after I got it yesterday that I posted a picture of mine in it on Dec ebook with the screenshot of the Amazon page for my friends. I would buy it for gifts. It sits up high enough to be monitor viewing height for me. What's funny is I had been setting my tablet on the top edge of a fruit bowl to achieve the same height and now I have something better.
