This desk mount is one of the more complicated ones I've used. Look at all the tools included, for starters. For a tablet you usually use on a stand, it's a great option though. It comes with the clamp and stand separate, and there are 8 points of manual adjustment to install or remove the tablet. You have four large shells with screws inside that handle the depth of the tablet (holding it against the front of the corner brackets), and four smaller bolts that control the dimensions of the tablet stand. It only took a couple of minutes to attach the clamp to the stand, and since I didn't care about cable management for the stand yet, I skipped most of the instructions. I may have ended up with a missing bolt in one of the depth shells, but it seems like the tablet is held well in place either way. Will have to look into that and see if something came off in the box or something. The pictures show my 13" M5 iPad Pro installed. It has a magnetic shell from my keyboard case, and a screen protector. Seems to fit well, adjusts easily to horizontal or vertical alignment at any angle, and it feels sturdy enough to leave on a desk or table for the long run. It was $56 when I ordered it, and $48 as I write this review, and if you're using this for a semi-permanent tablet stand, I'd say it's fair at either price. For my uses, I'd probably prefer something with an expandable tool-less model (spring loaded or the like). Read more

I used this iPad Clamp Mount at my vendor booth, and it significantly improved the efficiency of my checkout process. It was extremely easy to assemble and use and lightweight enough to move if needed. The secure and anti-theft design, featuring an anti-theft screw and lockable bracket, gave me peace of mind knowing that my iPad was safely mounted while still being easily accessible for customers. This feature is particularly beneficial in high-traffic areas, making it an ideal solution for retail displays and office environments where security is a priority. The adjustable and versatile positioning of this mount truly impressed me. With its 360° rotation and 90° tilt, I could effortlessly find the perfect viewing angle for both myself and my customers, enhancing their experience. The height adjustment capability, ranging from 7.9” to 13”, allowed me to customize the setup to suit different user preferences. Additionally, the heavy-duty aluminum construction and rubber pad base ensure stability and durability, making it compatible with a wide range of devices, including various iPad models. I highly recommend this iPad Clamp Mount for anyone seeking a reliable functionality and flexible mounting solution for their tablets. Read more

This is a really sturdy tablet holder designed for roughly 10-13 inch sized tablets. It consists of four adjustable jaws that clamp the tablet on the corners. The holder is adjustable on a number of dimensions; you can choose the height by a telescoping tube in the middle, the tablet can rotate 360 degrees on a central screw, and the holder can swivel and tilt. You pretty much get full freedom of motion. Security comes from the threaded insert on the bottom, which attaches with a single screw. There is high friction rubber that keeps it from unwanted rotation; theoretically, someone could try to unscrew the whole unit from the top, but it would be much easier to just unscrew the jaws and release the tablet that way, since both use standard hex head screws. One cool feature of this that makes it more versatile is that while it's advertised as grommet-mount, that isn't the only way you could install it - you could just drill a small 1/2" or so hole in any surface and run the bolt through it. This would even let you install the tablet in a horizontal mount coming from a wall, if you didn't mind it protruding a foot into the room. So if you're looking at this and wondering if you can MacGuyver a solution to a problem you have, the answer is 'definitely yes'. The only real downside here is that because this is a open framed tablet mount, there's no solution for cable management or for protecting power buttons and such from guest use. So if people accessing your power button or an unsightly exposed charging cable are an issue, you'll need a different mount solution. On the plus side, there is a hollow channel up the middle that you can route the cable through at least so it passes through the desk grommet. Attractive, functional, and robust - this is a nice mount if you need the feature set it provides. Read more
