It could use a few more features to grip whatever it is you're leaning against it (presumably an iPad or small laptop) but the variety of ways in which it folds are extremely useful depending on location, and I have not seen any sign of the vinyl "hinges" or creases where the device bends wearing out or breaking. I'll admit it took me a couple of minutes to find and figure out all the adjustment positions but one I did it is a really nice unit. It is a heavier weight (1.6 lbs.) than some might want to travel, but it is sturdy and well designed and it can & will accommodate multiple machines without being overkill or under-supportive. It is attractive enough with its leather-look cover to be used in a business setting. The magnetic design makes it easy to get a configuration to "stick" and makes me feel more comfortable with the sturdiness. I work hybrid, and we have to reserve our workspace cubicles… This means that I can’t have a permanent set up, so I needed a laptop stand that was very portable, light, and would fit in the backpack I take to work. This stand is much better than I thought it would be to be honest. It’s very sturdy, magnetic, and when I set my laptop on it and turn on my WebCam, people aren’t looking up my nose during meetings. I would be OK if it were just a couple inches taller, but that would mean that the size of the stand would be larger and wouldn’t fit in my backpack as easily.
